摘要: A battery pack may include a battery cell, a cradle, a board and a housing. The cradle may be coupled with the battery cell and may include one or more guide members extending from and integrally formed with a surface of the cradle. The board may be mounted to the cradle and may include a plurality of terminal contacts electrically connected with the battery cell. The one or more guide members may be adapted to guide a device into engagement with the terminal contacts. The housing may at least partially enclose the cradle and the battery cell and may include one or more guide apertures and a plurality of terminal apertures. The one or more guide members may protrude through the one or more guide apertures. Each of the terminal apertures may be aligned with a corresponding one of the plurality of contacts.

摘要: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a battery which includes a granulation step (Step S1) of mixing at least an active material, a binder, and a solvent to form wet granulated particles, a deposition step (Step S2) of subjecting the wet granulated particles to a forming process to form an active material layer on a current collector, a rolling step (Step S3) of placing a separator on a surface of the active material layer and rolling the separator before the wet granulated particles on the current collector are dried, to obtain a laminated body in which the current collector, the active material layer, and the separator are stacked in this order and closely attached to each other, a drying step (Step S4) of drying the laminated body to provide an integrated laminated body, and a fabrication step (Step S5) of fabricating a battery using the integrated laminated body.

The first cover portion is provided with a tongue piece that extends from the first cover portion toward the second cover portion and overlaps the second cover portion in the opening direction of the bus bar housing portion.

In the stacking direction of the electrode body, a second current collecting case includes: a second facing portion facing the electrode body in the stacking direction of the electrode body; and negative-electrode wall portions that extend from edge portions of the second facing portion so as to cover second side portions of the electrode body, and whose inner surfaces are electrically connected to edge sides of negative-electrode protruding portions.

The anode active material for a lithium ion secondary battery, the active material comprising a Si compound and a carbonaceous material or a carbonaceous material and graphite, is obtained by a method comprising the steps of: mixing a Si compound, a carbon precursor, and, as appropriate, graphite powder; performing granulation/compaction; pulverizing the mixture to form composite particles; firing the composite particles in an inert gas atmosphere; and subjecting the pulverized and conglobated composite powder or the fired powder to air classification.

摘要: Disclosed are battery management systems with control logic for battery state estimation (BSE), methods for making/using/assembling a battery cell with a reference electrode, and electric drive vehicles equipped with a traction battery pack and BSE capabilities. In an example, a battery cell assembly includes a battery housing with an electrolyte composition stored within the battery housing. The electrolyte composition transports ions between working electrodes. A first working (anode) electrode is attached to the battery housing in electrochemical contact with the electrolyte composition. Likewise, a second working (cathode) electrode is attached to the battery housing in electrochemical contact with the electrolyte composition. A reference electrode is interposed between the first and second working electrodes, placed in electrochemical contact with the electrolyte composition. The reference electrode and one or both working electrodes cooperate to output a half-cell voltage signal that is indicative of a battery state of the battery cell assembly.

摘要: The instant disclosure sets forth multiphase lithium-stuffed garnet electrolytes having secondary phase inclusions, wherein these secondary phase inclusions are material(s) which is/are not a cubic phase lithium-stuffed garnet but which is/are entrapped or enclosed within a lithium-stuffed garnet. When the secondary phase inclusions described herein are included in a lithium-stuffed garnet at 30-0.1 volume %, the inclusions stabilize the multiphase matrix and allow for improved sintering of the lithium-stuffed garnet. The electrolytes described herein, which include lithium-stuffed garnet with secondary phase inclusions, have an improved sinterability and density compared to phase pure cubic lithium-stuffed garnet having the formula Li7La3Zr2O12.

摘要: A taping machine includes: a conveyor to convey the battery cell to a taping part and a finish processing part in this order; a tape supply part configured such that the insulation tape is wound therearound and is moved while being unwound in a direction corresponding to a moving direction of the conveyor; a taping part for attaching the insulation tape to the battery cell, the taping part being configured to cut the insulation tape positioned thereon into a length of 80% to 100% of the length of a to-be-insulated portion and temporality attach the cut insulation tape to the to-be-insulated portion; and a finish processing part for attaching the tape to the battery cell, the finish processing portion pressing the insulation tape in a state in which the battery is received from the taping part so that the insulation tape is attached to the entire to-be-insulated portion.

The insulator is between the vent plate and the middle plate, and the insulator includes a crosslinked polymer.

摘要: A battery balancing system for parallel connected batteries for balancing batteries that are at dissimilar voltages. The system has first and second buses, connected by a current limiter. A high bus takes energy from the highest voltage battery or batteries in the system and transfers the energy through the current limiter to the low bus, which in turn delivers energy to the lowest voltage battery or batteries in the system.
