    摘要: A battery pack may include a battery cell, a cradle, a board and a housing. The cradle may be coupled with the battery cell and may include one or more guide members extending from and integrally formed with a surface of the cradle. The board may be mounted to the cradle and may include a plurality of terminal contacts electrically connected with the battery cell. The one or more guide members may be adapted to guide a device into engagement with the terminal contacts. The housing may at least partially enclose the cradle and the battery cell and may include one or more guide apertures and a plurality of terminal apertures. The one or more guide members may protrude through the one or more guide apertures. Each of the terminal apertures may be aligned with a corresponding one of the plurality of contacts.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a battery which includes a granulation step (Step S1) of mixing at least an active material, a binder, and a solvent to form wet granulated particles, a deposition step (Step S2) of subjecting the wet granulated particles to a forming process to form an active material layer on a current collector, a rolling step (Step S3) of placing a separator on a surface of the active material layer and rolling the separator before the wet granulated particles on the current collector are dried, to obtain a laminated body in which the current collector, the active material layer, and the separator are stacked in this order and closely attached to each other, a drying step (Step S4) of drying the laminated body to provide an integrated laminated body, and a fabrication step (Step S5) of fabricating a battery using the integrated laminated body.

    摘要: Disclosed are battery management systems with control logic for battery state estimation (BSE), methods for making/using/assembling a battery cell with a reference electrode, and electric drive vehicles equipped with a traction battery pack and BSE capabilities. In an example, a battery cell assembly includes a battery housing with an electrolyte composition stored within the battery housing. The electrolyte composition transports ions between working electrodes. A first working (anode) electrode is attached to the battery housing in electrochemical contact with the electrolyte composition. Likewise, a second working (cathode) electrode is attached to the battery housing in electrochemical contact with the electrolyte composition. A reference electrode is interposed between the first and second working electrodes, placed in electrochemical contact with the electrolyte composition. The reference electrode and one or both working electrodes cooperate to output a half-cell voltage signal that is indicative of a battery state of the battery cell assembly.
