摘要: An autogenous impact mill (10) is operative to size reduce friable material particles processed through operation of the mill. At least one impeller (58) rotatable within an interior area (44) of a housing (12) of the mill is operative to produce one or more air jets. The air jets are operative to suspend material particles using the Coanda Effect. Other particles moved by the air jets bounce off ricochet bars (74) and impact suspended particles so as to break and reduce the particles to a suitable size to pass through a screen (110) to an outlet opening (42).

摘要: A pulverized material producing system capable of producing a pulverized material dried sufficiently from a raw material, while at the same time suppressing production costs, even in the case where the raw material has a high moisture content and viscosity, is provided. A pulverized material producing system that includes a pulverizer 2, a container 3, and a heated air supplier 4 that supplies heated air is used. The container 3 includes a first inlet 10, second inlets 11a and 11b, a first outlet 12, and a second outlet 13, and is configured so that a swirl flow 35 is created within the container. The heated air is supplied by the heated air supplier 4 to the interior of the container 3 via the second inlets 11a and 11b. The pulverizer 2 includes a casing 20 provided with a suction port 22 and a discharge port 23, an impeller, and a screen 24 that has many pores, and has blower functionality. The first inlet 10 is connected to the discharge port 23 of the casing via a pipeline 7, and the first outlet 12 is connected to the suction port 22 of the casing via a pipeline 8.

摘要: The invention relates to a twin-flow beater mill for preparing fibrous materials to produce intermediate products capable of further processing. It consists of a rotor fitted with beater plates surrounded by a cylindrical grinding surface. The rotor includes rotor plates which carry the beater plates and which form a guide duct, shaped like an annular disk, which opens out peripherally onto the center of the grinding surface. The beater plates are interrupted on the inlet side in the opening-out region of the guide duct, and on the outlet side replaceable retaining rings can be set on the two end faces of the grinding surface so as to variably adjust the classifying effect.

摘要: The apparatus and its process utilization enables a higher throughput of ore bodies being comminuted, provides a closer or more accurate selection of size of particles or particulates produced, has a low noise level in its operation, and uses its rotor impeller to facilitate the charging-in of ore bodies to be processed, the breaking-up of such bodies, and the delivery of such bodies in the form of sized particles or particulates is introduced by suction peripherally into one of the compartments of a motor-drive impeller and axially into all of the compartments, ore bodies are introduced into all of the compartments and are thrown under centrifugal force from one of the compartments against an anvil. Broken-up bodies of a desired size are fluidized and moved upwardly out of the apparatus while those of a rejected size are returned to the impeller for reprocessing with additional ore bodies being newly introduced therein. The impeller operates in a circular housing that is cushioned and sound-proofed by a suitable resin or plastic backing. The speed of rotation of the motor drive controls the size and size range of the particles or particulates produced. Input of fluidizing air into the apparatus is provided by rotation of the impeller with the entry quantity being valvecontrolled.

摘要: A method and apparatus for communicating feed stock in the form of shreds or the like to form a low density particulate product. The shredded feed stock is fed to a material handling rotor that functions as a centrifugal blower. The apparatus includes a housing that defines a cylindrical rotor chamber formed about a horizontal axis and a volute-shaped internal passage having at least one convolution formed around the rotor chamber. Located within the housing is a cylindrical screen with perforations that open into the rotor chamber. The centrifugal blower rotor is mounted in the rotor chamber and has a plurality of radial vanes with rakers attached to the outer ends closely spaced from the inner surface of the screen so that they continuously wipe pass the perforations to prevent clogging or blinding.

摘要: An apparatus for grinding and mulching landscape debris includes a plurality of cylindrical chambers of different sizes. A first intake chamber has an opening through which the landscape debris is inducted into the apparatus. A second, larger diameter cutting chamber is connected to and is concentric with the intake chamber. A plurality of cutting blades chop the landscape debris which is present in the cutting chamber. A third, still larger hammer chamber is connected to and is concentric with said cutting chamber. The hammer chamber includes a plurality of free-swinging hammers which grind the landscape debris to a size which can exit through a perforated grinding ring which surrounds the hammer chamber. A blower chamber surrounds the perforated grinding ring, the blower chamber including a plurality of rotating fan blades which force air out of an exit opening in the blower chamber, thus creating a partial vacuum in the hammer chamber. The increasing sizes of the intake, cutting, and hammer chambers assure that the average dwell time of debris particles per unit length of chamber decreases as the debris particles proceed from the intake chamber to the cutting chamber and then to the hammer chamber.
