    摘要: Multiple robotic monitors are located in a hydrocarbon storage or transport facility. Each robotic monitor is communicably coupled to other robotic monitors and includes a heat sensor configured to detect heat emitted by a hydrocarbon tank of the hydrocarbon storage or transport facility. A controller is communicably coupled to the heat sensor and configured to generate a heat signature based on the heat detected by the heat sensor. A pump is communicably coupled to the controller and configured to exert pressure on a fire retardant, responsive to the generation of the heat signature by the controller. An outlet is mechanically coupled to the pump and configured to discharge the fire retardant at the hydrocarbon tank.

    摘要: Fire protection and suppression apparatus, materials, systems and methods of use thereof are disclosed. In fire extinguishing applications, a convergent-divergent nozzle is incorporated into a pyrotechnic aerosol generator to improve the discharge characteristics when combined with air induction, reduced quantity of cooling media, and re-shaped agent/combustion chamber for longer discharge duration. In fire extinguishing applications, aerosol extinguishing agent in sheets, panels or other forms can be placed inside an enclosure that may have a fire. Once initiated, the aerosol extinguishing material will burn to create and directly disperse the aerosol particulate that can extinguish the fire. Initiation of the aerosol agent can be by flames or heat from an unwanted fire. Alternative methods of initiation include electric initiators that are signaled by automatic fire detection systems, electric manual methods, or mechanical/thermal initiators.

    摘要: A remotely controlled fire suppression assembly includes a water reservoir that is positioned adjacent to a building and a fire retardant reservoir that is positioned adjacent to the building. A pumping unit is positioned adjacent to the building and the pumping unit is in fluid communication with each of the water reservoir and the fire retardant reservoir. A fire sensor is coupled to the building and the fire sensor turnings on the pumping unit when the fire sensor senses heat and moisture that correspond to conditions of an active fire. A plurality of sprinklers is provided and each of the sprinklers is in fluid communication with the pumping unit. The plurality of sprinkler is distributed on and around the building to spray the mixture of water and fire retardant for extinguishing a fire on or around the building.
