摘要： An actuating system for an actuatable door and to an actuatable door having such an actuating system are provided. The actuating system comprises first and second rotatable latching shafts, a coupling link, first and second pivotable mechanical transmission elements that are mounted onto first and second rotatable latching shafts, respectively, and first and second latching members. First and second latching members are non-rotatably mounted to the second rotatable latching shaft and adapted for latching the actuatable door in a closed position. A first rotation of the first rotatable latching shaft results in pivoting of the first and second mechanical transmission elements and a second rotation of the second rotatable latching shaft, which causes a third rotation of first and second latching members.

摘要： A flush mounted latch for a sliding panel or pocket door includes a snap-in, installation, from the edge of the panel or door. A slide handle operates a pair juxtaposed, pivoting, keeper-engaging, hooks to open them. The handle carries a lock rod which is engaged by a privacy knob operated from the inside of the latch or a lock cylinder/lock plug operated from the outside of the latch. A case/housing encloses the latch mechanism with two walls. Each case wall has side top-edge flanges that seat on respective face of the door. A plurality of screws and threaded studs are utilized to adjust the distance between the two opposing flanged housing walls to accommodate variances in door thickness. A first gasket seals the case/housing adjacent its outside wall. A second gasket seals the case housing and slide handle adjacent the inside wall. Cover plates are included on both sides of the latch.

摘要： A lock assembly includes a casing, a pivotable member pivotally mounted in the casing, two linking rods each having a first end pivotally connected to the pivotable member and a second end, and two hook devices each including a first hook member and a second hook member. Each second hook member is pivotally mounted in the casing. The second end of each linking rod is pivotally connected to an associated second hook member. Each first hook member includes a first end pivotally connected to the second hook member. Each hook member further includes a hooked second end that is passable through an associated opening of the casing. When the pivotable member is pivoted, each first hook member is pivoted such that the hooked second end of each first hook member is moved between a retracted position in the casing and an extended position out of the casing.

摘要： A locking mechanism for a box having a cover and a base hingeably connected to each other. The locking mechanism comprises a cover latching mechanism and a base latching mechanism. The cover latching mechanism is in a latching position. The two latching mechanisms are in latching engagement with each other to lock the box closed. An unlatching mechanism is provided which is activated to place the latching mechanism in an unlatching position to disengage the latching mechanisms from each other and unlock the box. An activating mechanism to active the unlatching mechanism. A deactivating mechanism is provided to return the cover latching mechanism back to its latching position so that closing the cover will cause the latching mechanisms to become in locking engagement with each other to lock the box. A box opening assembly in the box which is adapted to open the cover as soon as the latching mechanisms are disengaged from each other.
