Abstract: A display device includes: a plurality of first pixels connected to a first scan line; a plurality of second pixels connected to a second scan line; and a plurality of third pixels connected to a third scan line, wherein, from a position in a first frame period, an image portion displayed by the first pixels, the second pixels, and the third pixels, which are connected to first data lines, is shifted in a first direction, in a second frame period next to the first frame period, wherein an image portion displayed by the first pixels and the second pixels, which are connected to second data lines, is shifted in the first direction, in the second frame period, wherein an image portion displayed by the third pixels connected to the second data lines is shifted in a direction different from the first direction, in the second frame period.

Abstract: A display method is applied to a display apparatus including a display panel, a display driver chip, and a microprocessor. The display method includes outputting, by the display panel, a scanning-done signal of a first frame image generated after scanning rows of pixel circuits of the display panel; after the microprocessor or the display driver chip receives the scanning-done signal, writing, by the display driver chip, initial data of a second frame image provided by the microprocessor and outputting, by the display driver chip, display data of the second frame image to the display panel based on the initial data; or outputting, by the display driver chip, the display data of the second frame image to the display panel in response to the scanning-done signal, the display data being generated based on the initial data provided by the microprocessor. The second frame image follows the first frame image.

The pixel includes a first element group and a second element group connected in series to each other, the first element group includes at least one first light emitting element, and the second element group includes at least one second light emitting element. The compensator is to calculate the degradation rate by applying first information on the number of the first light emitting elements and second information on the number of the second light emitting elements.

Abstract: A display device including a controller and a display panel. The controller receives original image data and output a display image signal. The display panel receives the display image signal and displays a display image corresponding to the display image signal. The controller includes an image shift controller and a memory. The image shift controller generates shifted image data by modulating the original image data to shift the display image sequentially along a preset shift path on the display panel. The memory stores a shift path value indicating a distance by which the display image has been shifted on the preset shift path. The image shift controller generates the display image signal by processing the shifted image data. When the display device is powered on, the image shift controller generates shifted image data corresponding to a shift path value stored in the memory.
