摘要: A process for creating and applying a soft, high-definition, complex shaped appliqué such that the shape of the appliqué is not distorted when stitched onto a garment and the appliqué can optionally be embroidered without requiring additional alignment processes. The appliqués are made by sublimating a high-definition image onto an upper fabric capable of retaining the high-definition image, affixing the upper fabric to a soft backing fabric capable of resisting dimensional distortion, and then laser cutting the complex shape such that the resulting appliqué can be stitched onto a garment.

摘要: The present invention relates to both a textile article and a method of making the textile article. The textile article is a two-sided multicolor Jacquard or Dobby woven textile with a graphic impression on at least one side thereof. In one embodiment, the front side of the textile has a dark color border and a light color area within said border. The light color area is the area receiving the graphic impression. It is sometimes advantageous to reverse the textile. Therefore, in another embodiment the front side has a light color border with a dark central area, and the dark central area will receive the graphic impression. The graphic impression may be applied by screen printing, image dyeing, digital imaging, or heat transfer (heat applied graphics). The method of making the article comprises the steps of providing a two-sided Jacquard or Dobby woven textile and then transferring the impression onto the textile, preferably in the light color central area, but the reverse side of the textile could be employed and the impression could be on the dark central area. The textile may be a golf or sports towel, hand, bath, or wash towel, beach towel, baby bib, a bath or beach robe, a bath mat, an apron, hot-plate, mittens, and the like.

摘要: A method of producing a reflective design includes the steps of lasering a pattern on an adhesive side of a reflective laminated material. The lasering ablates the adhesive and causes these areas to not adhere. The reflective laminate material is applied to a substrate. A carrier layer of the reflective laminate is removed to produce a reflective design on the substrate. This method allows for highly customized designs at a reasonable cost that are very visually appealing. The substrate may be a textile, paper, or decal material. The textile may be the garment or may be a patch that is sewn onto a garment or applied to the garment with an adhesive.

摘要: Heat transfer press (1) that allows the transfer of a decoration based on transfer paper (6) or other stamping techniques onto a fabric (5) situated on a frame (8), so that the fabric (5) and the frame (8) can then be extracted from the heat transfer press (1.) and then be inserted directly into a conventional embroidery machine. In this way, the heat transfer press (1) enables the industrial production of stamped and embroidered fabrics (5). The inventive heat transfer press (1) comprises a stamping shape (7) substantially adapted in shape and size to the frame (8) that supports the fabric (5), frame holders (9) for the connection of the frame (8), and generator means (10) for the projection of references (11) enabling the correct positioning of the paper transfer (6) or similar on the fabric (5) prior to the transfer.

摘要: Advances in digital imaging, half-tone printing and printing of the entire garment combine to provide realistic optical illusions of three dimension on garments or fabric. Throughout this application, “fabric” means cloth, film, or any pliable and wearable, utilitarian or aesthetic material. Crude air brush simulations or hand illustrations have herein been replaced with digitally or physically “flattening” an image of a three-dimensional object which is printed on flat cloth and reassembled to provide an illusion of three dimensionality when worn as a garment. The flattening process renders the image of a three-dimensional object as a two-dimensional image that is minimally stretched, shrunk or distorted compared to the original three-dimensional objects, unlike rectangular world maps, for instance, which are distorted to represent a spherical globe on a flat surface. The flattened images of three-dimensional objects when printed and worn can simulate a knight's armor, flowers or jewelry, ethnic costumes or nightgowns including intricate folds and details. Such image preparation and printing on a garmnet results in a printed optical illusion of three-dimensionality that relates to the wearer's body in a visually meaningful way.

摘要: A method for taking a plant print includes the steps of applying a coloring matter, which is combined a pigment with a fixing agent including one of acryl emulsion, gum alabic, gum tragacanth or selectively and an alcohol, to a plant matter; the step copying and dyeing the plant matter, which is applied the coloring matter, on a copied-and-dyed object by pushing with pressure; and the step doing the ironing by an iron on a back side of the plant matter or a part which is applied the coloring matter. Therefore, since the coloring matter with alcohol is used so as not to shed when the coloring matter is applied to the leaf or flower of the plant matter, any kind of the copied-and-dyed object including paper, cloth cubic object can be copied and dyed easily and beautifully the details of the leaf, and it can be prevented efficiently to lose and change color.
