    摘要: A fuel dispenser containing electronic/electrical components controlled by a computer is disclosed. The computer and all electronic components, including a touch screen display, are mounted in a module or rack provided with a pair of slides. A recess in the fuel dispenser receives the module on mating slides. At least one connector or plug on the back of the electronics module engages a mating plug mounted in the recess so that when a replacement electronics module is installed, connections to all electronic components is automatically made. As one feature of the invention, configuration data for the fuel dispenser is stored in a flash memory either permanently mounted to the computer or in removable relation therewith. After replacing an electronics module, the configuration data may be uploaded to the permanently mounted flash memory or the flash memory may be removed from the defective module and installed in the operating module. This eliminates the need to manually re-enter configuration data after repair of the fuel dispenser.

The unique identifier is stored in the memory of the fuel dispenser as well. Prior to each fueling transaction, the unique identifiers in the respective memories are compared. In the event that a match is not found, an alarm may be generated. A calibration factor may likewise be stored in both memories and compared concurrently with the unique identifiers. In an alternate embodiment, each element of the flow meter has a unique identifier which is compared prior to a fueling transaction.

The electronic receipt can be wirelessly communicated to a user device associated with the refueling customer. The electronic receipt can also be communicated to a remote location such as a network address or e-mail account. The user device can direct the execution of remote management functions involving the fuel dispenser. The communication exchange to facilitate the management operations includes the use of a wireless link between the dispenser and user device.     摘要: The invention relates to a calibration apparatus for control of propellant pumps, especially in the traffic sector, which apparatus is placed on a vehicle, especially a trailer. An electric generator (78) which may be driven by a belt drive (79-84) connected to one of the road wheels (2), may charge an accumulator (87), and a pressure container (88, 89) with a non-flammable pressurized gaz, e.g. carbondioxide, is provided for remote control of the discharge valve (20). A control device for time control of the functions of the apparatus is further provided.
