摘要： A hand-held system for sanitizing contaminated articles that come into intimate contact with the human body such as scuba diving equipment including aqua lungs, wet-suits, fins, caps and masks comprises structures for exposing confined parts of the gear such as hoses, pressure regulators and mouthpieces to a pressurized flow of fluid using a fluid-conditioning spray gun adapted to mix a germicidal solution into a jet of water or other fluid carrier. The spray gun has a conical nozzle provided with a set of graduated, flexible, feather-edged disks or barbs that can hermetically mate with a number of component apertures of different sizes and shapes.

摘要： An animal grooming tool (10, 10′, 10″) that allows a user to spray an animal with a liquid and squeegee excess water from the animal. Spraying and squeegeeing may be performed substantially simultaneously with one another in one motion, if desired. The grooming tool includes a tubular body (14) having a plurality of liquid outlets (22) located along the length of the tool. The body defines a central passageway (18) for conveying liquid to the outlets. Scrapers (42) for providing the tool with its squeegee capability are located adjacent the liquid outlets. The grooming tool further includes a handle region (54) and a grip (58) adjacent one end of the body. A portion of the body is curved to form a concave region (20) so that the tool better conforms to the curved surfaces typically found on the animals groomed with the tool.

摘要： A method of applying a polish formulation to a vehicle. A water hose is connected at one end to a water source and at the other end it is connected to a siphon-sprayer having a polish formulation in its container. The polish formulation includes polish emulsions. The water is turned on and flows from the water source through the water hose and then through the siphon-sprayer. The polish formulation is siphoned up from the siphon-sprayer to form a polish formulation and water mixture that is then sprayed onto the vehicle. After application of the polish formulation and water mixture, no further step of buffing or wiping is required. In one preferred embodiment, the polish emulsion is a cationically charged wax emulsion.

摘要： A method for applying a wax formulation to a vehicle. A water hose is connected at one end to a water source and at the other end it is connected to a siphon-sprayer having a wax formulation in its container. The wax formulation includes water and wax emulsions. The water is turned on and flows from the water source through the water hose and then through the siphon-sprayer. The wax formulation is siphoned up from the siphon-sprayer to form a wax formulation and water mixture that is then sprayed onto the vehicle. After application of the wax formulation and water mixture, no further step of buffing or wiping is required. In a preferred embodiment, the wax emulsion is a cationically charged wax emulsion.

The nozzle further includes first and second outlets, and first and second passages. The first and second outlets are formed in an end of the body. The first passage extends between the inlet and the first outlet, and the second passage extends between the inlet and the second outlet. The first and second passages are substantially straight and parallel to one another. During operation of the nozzle, the pressurized flow of water from the inlet is split, passes through the first and second passages, and exits the body from the first and second outlets.

摘要： A plumbing fixture including, but not limited to, an aspirating type shower head operates to add a selected scent to the spray water. The showerhead utilizes a venturi assembly where the water supply passes through a venturi. A negative pressure is created at the high velocity water jet stream point, near the narrow area of the venturi. A number of small openings in the venturi, to a surrounding air chamber, allow air from the chamber, to be drawn into the venturi. The air chamber has inlet openings for the aspiration of room air. At a portion of these inlet openings is a quick connect port to receive a scented cartridge. The scent cartridge is positioned within the quick connect port of the showerhead. Room air is drawn through and over the scented material where the high velocity air picks up scent molecules for expulsion from the outlet.
