摘要： The invention describes a blade mill for grinding plastic material with a rotor which is driven in rotation inside a grinding chamber and has a plurality of radially outwards-pointing cutter blades distributed around its circumference and a plurality of stationary, radially inwards-pointing stator blades projecting into the grinding chamber and forming a blade gap with the cutter blades, wherein cutting spaces widening radially outwards in a crescent shape and located radially outside the turning circle of the rotating cutter blades are located ahead of the stator blades in the direction of rotation of the rotor. To prevent the plastic material which is to be ground from backing up in the cutting spaces and from being crushed against the wall of the screen baskets, the invention provides that the motion path of the rotor blades extend eccentrically with respect to the axis defined by the screen baskets. Relaxation spaces in which the plastic material is accommodated and which extend over a large rotational angle of the rotor blades are thereby formed in the gap between the wall of the screen baskets and the orbital path of the rotor blades. This allows the driving power of the drive motor to be significantly reduced for a given cutting performance.

摘要： A cutting device for reducing waste material comprises at least two groups of knives mounted on a shaft, next to one another, installed rotatably in front of an anvil. The groups of knives, each operating in a restricted zone of the width of supply each comprises several splitting knives to split the waste material mainly according to the sense of supply of the waste material. Each comprises at least one chopping knife intended to cut the waste material mainly across the sense of supply of the waste material to be cut. The chopping knives of the groups of knives situated next to one another are mounted on the shaft, shifted with respect to one another, so that each of them affects the waste material at a different time and place. A calibrating sieve filters the free discharge of the shreds and contributes to a supplementary (secondary and tertiary) cutting.

Each of the blades of the rotary blade units and the auxiliary rotary blade units has projecting portions and depressed portions formed alternately along the circumferential direction. Moreover, a screen having cut-pieces removal holes is disposed below and along the pair of rotary blade units and the pair of auxiliary rotary blade units.

摘要： A shredder, crusher, hammermill, ringmill or the like is provided with a multi-sided rotor shaft to which spider arms and hammers are mounted. The rotor shaft has at least one pair, and preferably two or more pairs, of opposing sides. The hammers are pivotally mounted between supports in the shape of spiders or discs. The supports include openings which have straight sides corresponding to the number of straight sides on the rotor shaft. The straight sides of the support openings engage the rotor shaft straight sides. Hence, the supports are rotationally fixed in place relative to the rotor shaft without the use of keys and keyways, pins, bolts, or other types of fasteners, allowing for easier assembly and reduced maintenance costs for the crusher.

摘要： A generally horizontal wood comminuter has a crosswise rotor with comminuting knives moving in a path of rotation and a crosswise coacting anvil. A feed works provides a material support surface and a power-driven feed member above it for feeding material toward the rotor. The rotor is driven in an uphill path of rotation relative to the feed works. Lift arms pivoted rearwardly of the feed works pivotally carry the feed member for swinging vertical movement toward and away from the material support surface. A crosswise deflector plate is carried independently of the lift arms and extends toward the anvil and a crosswise lift arm plate coacts with the deflector plate to contain fragmented material. The anvil and a grate retainer preferably are pivotal to move together from an operative to an inoperative position.

摘要： An apparatus is provided for processing (e.g., granulating) industrial materials (e.g., synthetic resin materials). The apparatus has a rotor shaft mounted in the inside of a housing. The rotor shaft has an axis running in a generally horizontal direction. Cutters extend radially from the rotor shaft with some of the cutters extending a distance less than the others. Approximately one-half of a second plurality of cutters are positioned on the rotor shaft between a first cutter and a second cutter of the first plurality of cutters, and approximately the other half of the second plurality of cutters are positioned on the rotor between the second cutter and a third cutter of the first plurality of cutters. The cutters may contain a symmetrical blade portion such that the rotor may be run in both directions, thereby extending the time between required maintenance operations, and minimizing down-time for the apparatus.

The dryer has an inlet (50) for wet granules from the agglomerator, an outlet (78) for granules having passed through the dryer, and one or more baffles (64) within the dryer defining a spiral path through which the granules pass from the dryer inlet towards the dryer outlet. The baffles are configured such that their pitch increases with distance from the dryer inlet, whereby the cross-sectional area of the spiral path increases toward the dryer outlet.
