    摘要: The exemplary embodiments herein provide a sealed transparent LCD assembly having a front and rear glass panel with a spacer positioned between the two panels to provide a sealed cavity containing a liquid crystal display (LCD). A wireless transmitter/receiver may be placed within the sealed cavity to receive image or video data wirelessly. The sealed transparent LCD assembly may be used with a display case which defines a cavity housing a second wireless transmitter/receiver which can push the image or video data to the wireless transmitter/receiver contained within the sealed cavity between the two glass panels.

    摘要: A cooler having a transparent display is provided. The cooler may include a body forming a predetermined space configured to receive products therein; a cooling unit or device installed in the body and configured to supply cooled air into the space; a door installed in or on the body to open and dose the space; and a transparent display assembly installed in the door and configured to provide predetermined information related to the products to a user. The transparent display assembly may include a transparent display panel, a dispersion panel arranged at a rear of the transparent display panel and configured to scatter light, which is incident upon a side of the dispersion panel, and a light source that irradiates light from the side of the dispersion panel to an inside of the dispersion panel. A transparency of the dispersion panel may be controlled depending on a distance between a user and the cooler to allow the user to selectively see the products.

The first glass panel is configured to be in communication with an environment surrounding the refrigerated merchandiser, and has a first surface arranged to face the environment and a second surface opposite the first surface. The second glass panel is positioned adjacent the first glass panel, and has a third surface arranged to face the second surface and a fourth surface opposite the third surface. The third glass panel is positioned adjacent the second glass panel and is configured to be in communication with the product display area. The third glass panel has a fifth surface arranged to face the fourth surface and a sixth surface opposite the fifth surface and arranged to face the product display area. The door also includes a split-silver low-emissivity coating covering at least a portion of the third surface or the fourth surface, and a conductive film covering at least a portion of the fifth surface or the sixth surface. The conductive film is configured to be connected to a power supply to heat the third glass panel and to at least one of inhibit and remove condensation on at least one of the first glass panel and the third glass panel.

The light guide ideally contains a front and rear surface. The assembly preferably has a front bracket that contacts the front surface of the light guide and a rear bracket that contacts the rear surface of the light guide. While the light guide is constrained from movement towards or away from the LCD panel by the front and rear brackets, the light guide is generally permitted to move parallel to the LCD panel.
