Abstract: A backlight module and a display device are provided by the embodiments of the present application. The backlight module includes a light guide plate and a switchable diffusion sheet. The switchable diffusion sheet further includes a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer disposed opposite to each other. A polymer liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer. In the backlight module of the embodiment of the present application, a thick glass in the prior art is replaced with the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer which are lighter and thinner than the thick glass, which can greatly reduce an overall thickness of the backlight module.

Abstract: A display panel and a display device are disclosed. The display panel includes a display liquid crystal cell, a first polarizer, a switchable liquid crystal cell, and a second polarizer. A first substrate and a second substrate of the switchable liquid crystal cell are formed of transparent flexible substrates which are substituted for glass substrates, and a first phase compensation film group including at least a first C-type compensation film group is provided, which is used to compensate the phase difference caused by the phase retardation when the polarized light passes through the transparent flexible substrates, thereby reducing the thickness and weight of the display panel.

Abstract: This application discloses a display panel and a manufacturing method thereof, and a display device. A light-adjusting liquid crystal cell of the display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a light-adjusting liquid crystal layer and a sealing layer. The ultraviolet light transmittance of the first substrate in a display area is less than a predetermined threshold, and the ultraviolet light transmittance of the second substrate in the display area is greater than or equal to the predetermined threshold. During the curing of frame glue, it can prevent pre-polymerized molecules from being exposed to light in advance. During the curing of the pre-polymerized molecules, it can make the pre-polymerized molecules have a cross-linking reaction to form a polymer network.

Abstract: The present invention provides a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel and the LCD panel. A thin film transistor (TFT) substrate and a color filter (CF) substrate are first bonded, a liquid crystal material is enclosed between the TFT and CF substrates to obtain a liquid crystal cell, which is then irradiated with ultraviolet light to obtain a functional liquid crystal layer, and finally a black matrix is formed on a side of the CF substrate away from the TFT substrate. By changing the structure of the existing LCD panel, the present invention prevents the shading of the black matrix that affects functional liquid crystal layer production. It is advantageous for a polymer liquid crystal technology, a self-aligned liquid crystal technology, and the like to realize a technique of forming a specific functional layer by irradiating the liquid crystal cell with ultraviolet light.

Abstract: Disclosed is a display device including a display panel, a reflective polarizing layer, a liquid crystal dimmer cell, and a first polarizing plate which are sequentially stacked, wherein a reflection surface of the reflective polarizing layer faces the liquid crystal dimmer cell, and a direction of a transmission axis of the reflective polarizing layer is same as a direction of a transmission axis of the first polarizing plate, so that not only a peep-proof function of the display device can be realized, but also ambient light with a large viewing angle can be reflected, which can further reduce the visibility of the display screen under the large viewing angle without affecting the display at the front viewing angle.
