The measurement method also includes using N times of the DRX cycle as the indication period. N is configured by a network side and N is a number greater than zero. The measurement method additionally includes determining the indication period as a fixed value if the DRX cycle is less than or equal to a specified value, wherein the fixed value is predefined or configured by the network side. The measurement method also includes determining an evaluation period according to the indication period.
