摘要： A film conveying apparatus includes a portion for feeding a film, a portion for drawing the film and a slack detecting apparatus for detecting slack of the film therebetween. The slack detecting apparatus includes a light emitting portion and the light receiving portion, and when the light from the light emitting portion to the light receiving portion is intercepted by the film, it is determined that the film has slack. When the slack of the film is detected by the slack detecting apparatus, emission of light from the light emitting portion is stopped for a prescribed time period.

摘要： A laser recorder applicable to computer output microfilm recording apparatus comprises: a housing, a film feed unit having a film cassette loaded with a rolled heat development film; a film take-up unit for taking up the heat development film on a reel or on a tray, including a film storing mechanism for storing cut films sequentially; a main driving unit for driving the heat development film for advancing at a fixed speed for auxiliary scanning for recording image information on the heat development film, including a slackened film relief mechanism for eliminating slackened film around the main driving unit and a stepping motor driving current control circuit for driving the main driving unit at a low and fixed speed; loop detectors for preventing film feed force and film delivery force from working on the main driving unit, an image information recording unit for main scanning, having a laser optical system for scanning the heat development film across the width thereof to record image information recorded on the heat development film thereon; and a heat-development unit for heat-developing the image information recorded on the heat development film, including a delivery driving roller unit and a guide roller unit driven at different speeds respectively for eliminating blackened film around the heat-development unit as well as controlling the heat-development time, a temperature controller for controlling heat-development unit temperature, and a swing roller for separating the film from the heat-development unit when heat-development is not required.

摘要： An optical scanning device having a first optical beam source for exciting a first optical beam to be modulated based on an image signal, a beam scanning device having a reflecting face for scanning the first optical beam on a photosensitive face, a second optical beam source for exciting a second optical beam for generating a modulation start signal for the first optical beam and a light receiving element for receiving the second optical beam having been reflected by the beam scanning device. The second optical beam source is arranged so as to prevent its reflected optical beam when scanned by the beam scanning device from being directed toward the photosensitive face. Having detected the second optical beam, the light receiving element generates a signal for starting the modulation of the first optical beam.

摘要： A focusing device for use in micro film readers or the like for projecting micro images to give in-focus conditon exactly and readily. The present device includes a memory for storing a distance data representing the distance between an original and a projective lens at in-focus position thereof, and a sensor for measuring the distance between an original and the projective lens wherein the projective lens is moved to the in-focus position by a focusing motor in response to the distance data stored in the memory and a signal representing the measured distance generated from the sensor.

摘要： A beam scanning optical system having a semiconductor laser for emitting a light beam; a cylindrical lens for converging the laser beam into a straight line; a polygon mirror for deflecting the laser beam which converged the cylindrical lens at a constant angular velocity; a spherical mirror for collecting the deflected laser beam on a surface of a photosensitive member; and a lens disposed between the polygon mirror and the spherical mirror, the lens having at least one toroidal surface. The lens is so disposed that its beam entrance side and beam exit side are decentered in a direction of the beam scanning, and curvature of the entrance side and curvature of the exit side on a plane of deflection have different centers. The entrance side and the exit side of the lens are a toroidal surface and a spherical surface respectively, and the spherical surface is decentered in a direction perpendicular to the plane of deflection in respect to the toroidal surface. Also, the spherical mirror is decentered in a direction perpendicular to the plane of deflection.
