    Abstract: A method for managing a full duplex mobile telecommunication network includes providing a coordination unit of a set of base stations, and having the coordination unit group a plurality of user equipment served by said base stations to form corresponding user groups. Each user group includes a group of user equipment which are close to each other by an extent such to cause potential user equipment to user equipment interference. The method also includes having the coordination unit allocate radio resources for at least one between transmissions from user equipment to base stations, and transmissions from base stations to user equipment. The method further includes having each base station carrying out at least receiving transmissions from at least one served user equipment, and sending transmissions to at least one served user equipment by exploiting the allocated radio resources.

    Abstract: A method is proposed of arranging, in a mobile communication network, transmission of data between user equipment and at least one base station including a central unit and at least one remote unit associated therewith. The method includes at a transmitting side including the remote unit or the central unit, quantizing the data according to a quantization bit number, and transmitting, over a fronthaul link between the transmitting side and a receiving side including the central unit or the remote unit, respectively, the quantized data to the receiving side. The method further includes, at the central unit: determining the quantization bit number, wherein the determining including varying in time the quantization bit number according to network information available at the central unit, and communicating to the at least one remote unit the determined quantization bit number.

    Abstract: A method is proposed of arranging, in a mobile communication network, transmission of data between user equipment and a base station including a central unit and at least one remote unit associated therewith. The data includes information data and, associated with the information data, first control data substantially time-varying over a scheduling time period, and second control data substantially time-unvarying over the scheduling time period. The method includes at the central unit side, transmitting the information data and the first control data to the at least one remote unit, and at the at least one selected remote unit side, receiving the information data and the first control data from the central unit, generating the second control data, combining the generated second control data with the received information and first control data into the data, and transmitting the data to a selected user equipment.

    Abstract: A receiver receiving in a cell at least first and second data streams included in at least first and second signals. The receiver includes: a first estimating unit configured to receive the first and second signals and provide an estimate of first data on the first data stream; a regenerating unit configured to provide a regenerated first data stream based on the first data estimate and attenuation of first radio channels transmitting the first data stream; a second estimating unit configured to provide an estimate of second data on the second data stream based on the regenerated first data stream, on the first and second signals, on attenuation of second radio channels transmitting the second data stream, and on inter/intra-cell interference; and first and second extractions units configured to extract first and second information within the first and second data based on the estimates of the first and second data.
