The antenna module includes a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) including a first surface directed in a first direction and a second surface directed in a second direction that forms a predetermined first angle with respect to the first direction, a first antenna deployed on one surface of the first surface, and a second antenna deployed on one surface of the second surface.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a communication technique, which is a convergence of IoT technology and 5G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rate beyond 4G system, and a system for same. The present invention can be applied to smart services (e.g. smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cars or connected cars, health care, digital education, retail business, security- and safety-related services and the like) on the basis of 5G communication technology and IoT-related technology. The present invention provides an antenna module comprising: a first antenna array configured to form a beam in a specific direction; a second antenna array spaced a predetermined first distance apart from the first antenna array and configured to form a beam in a specific direction; and a lens spaced a predetermined second distance apart from beam radiation surfaces of the first antenna array and the second antenna array and configured to change phases of the beams radiated from the first antenna array and the second antenna array, wherein the lens is divided into a first region and a second region that have different phase-quantized resolutions.

Abstract: The present invention relates to: a communication technique for converging an IoT technology with a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate beyond the 4G system; and a system therefor. The present invention provides an antenna module including at least one antenna array, wherein the antenna array comprises: a first insulator having a shape of a plate and having a conductive pattern formed thereon to allow the flow of an electrical signal; a first radiator disposed such that the lower end surface thereof is spaced a predetermined first length apart from the upper end surface of the first insulator; a second radiator spaced a predetermined second length apart from the first radiator on a horizontal plane on which the first radiator is disposed; at least one feeder unit electrically connected to the conductive pattern to supply an electrical signal to the first radiator and the second radiator; and a second insulator disposed on the upper end surface of the first insulator to fix the at least one feeder unit such that the at least one feeder unit is spaced a predetermined third length apart from the lower end surface of the horizontal plane on which the first radiator and the second radiator are arranged.

The disclosure relates to a transmission device and method for adjustment of a signal beam by using a lens in wireless communication system, and includes a transmitter configured to form a beam by applying a predefined phase value pattern to a signal transmitted through an antenna array, the antenna array configured to emit the beam, and a lens having a phase mask corresponding to the phase value pattern, and configured to adjust a gain of the beam emitted from the antenna array. Accordingly, the transmission device and method can reduce a distance between an antenna and a lens in a wireless communication system.
