Disclosed herein are a humidifier and a control method of a humidifier providing with the hygienic humidification since it is possible to completely evaporate water remaining in a water tub because a humidifying element of a humidifier is disposed adjacent to the bottom of the water tub, further, since the humidifier has a structure configured to raise the humidifying element over the water surface of the water tub after the end of the humidifying operation, it is possible to provide the hygienic humidification without contamination of the humidifying element.

Disclosed are an air conditioner and a control method therefor. The air conditioner includes: a main body; a filter configured to filter impurities externally introduced into the main body; a fan configured to introduce the impurities into the main body through the filter; a sensor configured to detect a filter state value for determining a state of the filter; and a processor configured to determine that a replacement time of the filter arrives when an impurity purification capacity calculated on the basis of the filter state value detected in real time by the sensor is lower than a reference value.

In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, an ultrasound imaging apparatus comprising: an ultrasonic probe for transmitting ultrasonic waves to a target object and receiving ultrasonic waves reflected from the object; a beamforming unit for beamforming the received ultrasonic wave and outputting a beamforming signal; a sampling unit for adjusting the number of sampling times of the beamforming signal according to the amount of motion of the object; and an image processing unit for matching and synthesizing the sampled signals.

An air conditioner that further provides a lighting function is provided. The air conditioner can increase space utilization of a ceiling by the lighting device being integrally installed in the indoor unit. In addition, heat generated at the lighting device can be radiated by the cooling structure provided in the indoor unit, and thereby overheating of the lighting device can be prevented. The air conditioner includes a blowing fan configured to flow air, a housing in which an intake port is formed to suction air by the blowing fan, a lighting device provided in the housing, and a cooling channel configured to guide the air suctioned by the blowing fan to pass the lighting device.

Disclosed herein are an ultrasonic imaging apparatus for enhancing target therapy, and a control method thereof. The ultrasonic imaging apparatus includes: an inputter configured to receive a command for setting, in a first ultrasound image, a target area of an object to which target therapy is to be applied, the first ultrasound image showing a lesion to which ultrasound contrast agents including therapeutic agents have been bound within the object; and an image processor configured to compare the first ultrasound image to a second ultrasound image acquired after ultrasonic waves have been irradiated to a target part corresponding to the target area, and to detect at least one of an area into which the therapeutic agents have been delivered and an amount of the therapeutic agents delivered into the area.
