Abstract: An electronic device includes display driver and a sensor driver. The display driver drives a display layer and provide a grayscale voltage to a data lines. The sensor driver is synchronized with the display driver to drive a sensor layer, and operates in a first sensing mode and a second sensing mode. In the first sensing mode, the sensor driver senses an input through the sensor layer based on a first timing. In the second sensing mode, the sensor driver senses an input through the sensor layer based on a second timing different from the first timing.

Abstract: A method of testing a display apparatus using a touch sensor and a touch integrated circuit is presented. The touch sensor includes a driving electrode line and a detection electrode line, and the touch integrated circuit includes a signal driving unit and a signal detection unit. The method includes sensing a first mutual capacitance of predetermined test coordinates by applying a first driving signal to the driving electrode line and receiving a detection signal from the detection electrode line, sensing a second mutual capacitance of the predetermined test coordinates by applying a second driving signal to the driving electrode line and receiving a detection signal from the detection electrode line, and determining whether a touch operation is performed based on a difference between the first mutual capacitance and the second mutual capacitance.

Abstract: Disclosed is a display device including a display panel, an input sensing layer, a display controller that drives the display panel and outputs a synchronization signal including information about an operating frequency of the display panel, and a sensing controller that receives the synchronization signal and determines an operating frequency of the input sensing layer based on the synchronization signal. A driving frame of the display panel includes a first section during which an image is not displayed and a second section during which an image is displayed. During the driving frame, the display controller transmits a data signal for displaying an image to the display panel. The synchronization signal includes a first pulse corresponding to a timing of the first section, and a second pulse corresponding to a timing of the second section.
