    Abstract: A display device, includes: a display panel having short sides and long sides; and a touch sensor on the display panel and including a sensing area and a non-sensing area around the sensing area, wherein the touch sensor includes: a first touch electrode unit including a plurality of first touch electrodes in the sensing area, arranged in a direction in which the short sides of the display panel extend, and each including a first opening; a second touch electrode unit including a plurality of second touch electrodes in the sensing area, arranged in a direction in which the long sides of the display panel extend, and each including a second opening; and a pressure sensor including a strain gauge, at least a part of the strain gauge being located in the sensing area.

    Abstract: An input sensing device includes a plurality of first sensing electrodes having a plurality of first sensor units extending in a first direction. A plurality of second sensing electrodes has a plurality of second sensor units extending in a second direction different from the first direction. A first strain gauge includes a first force electrode located proximate to a first electrode of the plurality of first sensing electrodes. A second force electrode is located proximate to a second electrode of the plurality of first sensing electrodes. A first connecting electrode connects to both of the first force electrode and the second force electrode.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a base substrate; a light emitting element located on the base substrate; a thin-film encapsulation layer located on the light emitting element; touch electrodes located on the thin-film encapsulation layer, each of the touch electrode including an opening; and a strain gauge including: resistance lines located in the openings, respectively, the resistance lines located in the same layer as the touch electrodes and having variable resistance values changed in response to a touch input; a first connection line connecting two resistance lines neighboring each other along a first direction; and a second connection line connecting two resistance lines neighboring each other along a second direction, the second direction intersecting the first direction, wherein the first connection line and the second connection line are located between the thin-film encapsulation layer and the resistance lines.

    Abstract: A touch sensor including: a touch sensing area including driving electrodes and sensing electrodes; a driving signal generator which determines phases of driving signals based on a reference code and supplies the driving signals to the sensing electrodes, wherein the driving signals are sine waves; and a touch processor which receives sensing signals according to the driving signals from the sensing electrodes and determines a touch position based on the sensing signals and the reference code, wherein the driving signal generator controls the phases of the driving signals by updating the reference code at a predetermined time point.

    Abstract: An input sensing device includes driving electrodes and sensing electrodes, and an analog front-end which processes sensing signals from the sensing electrodes to output a differential output value. The analog front-end includes a first charge amplifier which differentially amplifies first and second sensing signals from two sensing electrodes to first and second input terminals, thus outputting first and second differential signals through first and second output terminals, a second charge amplifier which differentially amplifies the first and second differential signals, thus outputting third and fourth differential signals, a first demodulation circuit which filters the first and second differential signals in a first mode and filters each of the third and fourth differential signals in a second mode, and a first analog-to-digital converter which outputs a first sensing value based on at least one output signal of the first demodulation circuit.
