Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Devices in a wireless communications system may exchange information related to one or more default operating frequencies. A wireless device may identify default operating frequencies within an ultra-wide bandwidth and transmit an indication of the default operating frequencies to one or more other wireless devices. A first wireless device may identify one or more default operating frequencies of a second device (e.g., a user equipment (UE)), and the first wireless device may provide the default operating frequencies of the UE to another wireless device. For example, a UE may be handed over from a source device to a target device, and the source device may provide the UE's default operating frequencies to the target device when handing over the UE to the target device. The UE and the target device may communicate over the bandwidth based on the default operating frequencies.

In some aspects, a wireless communication device may receive, from a base station (BS), an indication of an inter-beam phase factor tracking reference signal configuration for inter-beam phase factor tracking, wherein at least one of the wireless communication device or the BS performs multi-beam combining over at least two static directions or beams from one or more antenna panels. The wireless communication device may perform one or more measurements of an inter-beam phase factor tracking reference signal based at least in part on the inter-beam phase factor tracking reference signal configuration. Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support mechanisms for signaling metrics associated with antenna modules of a UE in a wireless communication system. A user equipment (UE) determines one or more metrics associated with at least one antenna module of the UE. The UE transmits a message including the one or more metrics associated with at least one antenna module of the UE (e.g., to a base station or to another sidelink UE). In certain aspects, the message including the one or more metrics is transmitted to the base station during an initial establishment of a communication session between the UE and the base station. In some aspects, the UE transmits the message including the one or more metrics as a broadcast message, in a radio resource control (RRC) message, and/or in a medium access control (MAC)-control element (CE) message.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication of a recommendation (e.g., a preference) between a set of periodic channel state information reference signals (P-CSI-RS) and a set of aperiodic channel state information reference signals (AP-CSI-RS). For example, the recommendation may be based on conditions at the UE or capabilities of the UE. Based on the indication of the recommendation the UE may receive, from a network entity, control signaling granting the set of AP-CSI-RS or configuring the set of P-CSI-RS. Based on the control signaling and the granted or configured set, the UE may monitor for, and the network entity may transmit, the set of AP-CSI-RS or the set of P-CSI-RS.

Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to reporting time-scale capability information in learning adaptive beam weights for millimeter wave systems. In one example, a user equipment (UE) may identify a time-scale at which the UE can learn a set of adaptive beam weights for hybrid beamforming communications. The UE may further transmit a dynamic capability indication including information associated with the time-scale at which the UE can learn the set of one or more adaptive beam weights. In another example, a network entity may receive a dynamic capability indication including information associated with a time-scale at which a UE can estimate a set of adaptive beam weights. The network entity may further identify one or more time-scales associated with a set of reference signals to transmit to the UE for beam weight estimation, and transmit a grant for the set of reference signals for the UE to perform the beam weight estimation.
