    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from another UE, a coordination message that includes resource information (e.g., a preference status) for communication resources. The UE receiving the coordination message may determine a status of one or more resources based on the resource information, an intended recipient of the coordination message (e.g., based on a destination identifier of the coordination message), or a communication connection associated with the one or more resources. The status may indicate that a respective resource of the one or more resources is available, reserved, preferred, or non-preferred, or some combination thereof. In some examples, the one or more resources may be for a sidelink connection or a unicast connection. The receiving UE may utilize the determined status to select one or more resources for a sidelink transmission.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for acknowledgment feedback for groupcast option 1 sidelink communication are disclosed herein. An example method of wireless communication at a receiving user equipment (UE) includes determining whether a data signal associated with a groupcast transmission from a transmitting UE is decodable at the receiving UE and obtaining measurements of the data signal when the data signal is decodable at the receiving UE. The example method also includes determining whether the measurements exceed a threshold and transmitting a first type of feedback to the transmitting UE when the measurements do not exceed the threshold. An example method of wireless communication at a transmitting UE includes receiving, from a receiving UE over a sidelink channel, feedback comprising the first type of feedback when the first UE is determined to monitor for the first type of feedback and a second type of feedback from a plurality of UEs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive a sidelink message via a sidelink transmission resource of a shared sidelink resource pool that is shared between a communications according to a first radio access technology (RAT) and communications according to a second RAT. The UE may map sidelink transmission resource occasions of the shared resource pool to a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) occasion and map subchannels of the sidelink transmission occasions to respective resources of the PSFCH occasion. The UE may transmit a sidelink feedback message corresponding to the sidelink message using a resource of the PSFCH occasion corresponding to a subchannel carrying sidelink control information of the sidelink message.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring sidelink communications between user equipment's (UEs). Per one technique, during a discovery opportunity, a first UE and a second UE may identify a subset of beam pairs suitable for communication, and schedule a discontinuous transmission (DTX) occasion during the discovery opportunity. During the DTX occasion, the first UE and second UE may perform a beam refinement procedure to determine a beam pair (BP) over which to communicate, from the identified subset of beam pairs. The beam refinement procedure may include beam narrowing of at least one of the identified subset of beam pairs.
