Abstract: Scheduling with split symbols for beam management is described. An apparatus is configured to receive, from a network node, DL signaling including a symbol in a first slot, and to measure a first measurement of a first beam during a first time portion, and a second measurement of a second beam during a second different time portion, of the symbol. The apparatus is configured to communicate, with the network node, using the first or second beam based on at least one of the first measurement or the second measurement. Another apparatus is configured to provide, for a UE, DL signaling including a symbol in a first slot, and to communicate, with the UE, using the first or second beam based on a first and/or second measurement. The first and second measurements are of first and second beams during a first and second different time portions of the symbol, respectively.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a high speed train (HST) cell, a system information block (SIB) indicating an HST flag based at least in part on the UE camping on the HST cell. The UE may disconnect from the HST cell and camping on a non-HST cell based at least in part on a UE mobility in an HST railway. The UE may determine that disconnecting from the non-HST cell and camping on a new HST cell is to be prioritized over remaining on the non-HST cell, based at least in part on the UE being in the HST railway and based at least in part on a priority of HST cells being greater than a priority of non-HST cells. Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to generation of N-port dynamic beams. For example, a user equipment (UE) may be using a 2-port predefined receive beam for communication with a wireless node. The UE may estimate a channel using the predefined receive beam to measure a rank2 reference signal received from the wireless node. The UE may generate a dynamic beam weight to maximize a communication parameter based on the estimated channel. The UE may then apply the dynamic beam weight to an antenna array.

Abstract: A network entity configures a synchronization signal block (SSB) using SSB resources that convey a primary synchronization signal (PSS), a secondary synchronization signal (SSS), and a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) within an SSB resource area of a resource grid bounded in time by a first configured integer number of time units and bounded in frequency by a second configured integer number of physical channels. A product of the first configured integer number and the second configured integer number is a predetermined constant value, each symbol of the SSB has an equal number of resource elements (REs), and all REs in the each symbol of the SSB, except REs within a frequency guard band between any two of the PSS, the SSS, and the PBCH in the each symbol of the SSB, have non-zero values. A user equipment receives the SSB in the SSB resources as a beamformed SSB.

The UE may measure, based at least in part on the determination to switch the first beam, the second beam to obtain a second value of the beam parameter.
