    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive a resource allocation indicating a plurality of transmission tones comprising a subset of data tones of a plurality of data tones and a subset of peak reduction tones (PRTs) of a plurality of PRTs, wherein the resource allocation indicates locations for the plurality of data tones and locations for the plurality of PRTs within a particular bandwidth, wherein the locations for the plurality of PRTs are arranged relative to the locations for the plurality of data tones according to a PRT subsequence of a universal PRT sequence, and wherein the PRT subsequence corresponds to a sub-band of the particular bandwidth; and transmit a data transmission using a waveform based at least in part on the resource allocation.     Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications and, more particularly, to synchronization for standalone long term evolution (LTE) broadcast. In one aspect, a method is provided which may be performed by a wireless device such as a base station (BS). The method generally includes providing unicast coverage to one or more user equipments (UEs) in a unicast coverage area within a larger coverage area, transmitting unicast data in one or more subframes, and transmitting synchronization signals within one or more of the broadcast subframes, wherein the broadcast signals are transmitted as single frequency network (SFN) transmissions synchronized with transmissions from one or more other base stations providing unicast coverage within the larger coverage area.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques that may be used for low latency communications. For example, aspects allow a single group acknowledgement to be used to acknowledge a plurality of low latency transmissions. An exemplary method generally includes receiving, from a base station, a plurality of downlink channel transmissions, wherein each of the downlink channel transmissions is sent using a first transmission time interval (TTI) that is reduced relative to a legacy TTI and providing, in a single uplink channel transmission sent using a second TTI that is larger than the first TTI, a group acknowledgement indicating whether or not the downlink channel transmissions were successfully received by a UE.
