Abstract: A UE may calculate an allocation of a transmission power for a first uplink transmission on a first uplink channel and at least one second uplink transmission on at least one second uplink channel, the transmission power being allocated in each symbol of a plurality of symbols in a slot. The UE may detect a transmission power change in the allocation of the transmission power in the slot for at least one of the first uplink transmission or the at least one second uplink transmission. The UE may determine whether to adjust the allocation of the transmission power for the at least one of the first uplink transmission or the at least one second uplink transmission to eliminate the transmission power change in the slot for the at least one of the first uplink transmission or the at least one second uplink transmission.

Abstract: The techniques described herein may provide for sub-slot based physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) repetition (i.e., back-to-back PUSCH repetition within a slot) according to user equipment (UE) capability. A UE may employ uplink data repetition capability reporting for base station scheduling of uplink data repetition and base station management of the number of transport blocks (TBs) that a UE supports (e.g., processes and transmits for uplink) on a per-slot basis. According to the techniques described herein, a UE may indicate whether it supports mini-slot repetition (e.g., for ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC), enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), or both) via an uplink data repetition capability report. The uplink data repetition capability report may further indicate a maximum number of supported repetitions per TB, a number of supported TBs per slot, etc., such that a base station may configure or schedule PUSCH repetition based on the UE's reported capability.

In some aspects, a mobile station may receive an indication of whether a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) communication is to be punctured in a set of resources in which a second PDSCH communication at least partially overlaps with the first PDSCH communication, or both the first PDSCH communication and the second PDSCH communication are to be transmitted in the set of resources. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may transmit assistance information to a base station to request an update or a modification to one or more communication parameters configured at the UE. Such communication parameters may include a quantity of uplink multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) layers, a quantity of downlink MIMO layers, a minimum scheduling offset, a maximum quantity of component carriers, or a maximum aggregated bandwidth for a secondary cell group (SCG). In some implementations, the UE may transmit the assistance information requesting the update or modification to one or more of such communication parameters based on detecting that the UE satisfies one or more triggering conditions or thresholds.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) receiving a first transmission scheduling resources for a second transmission having a first priority. The UE may determine that one or more symbols of the second transmission are to be unused due to receipt of a cancellation indication or due to identifying a conflict, for example, with higher priority resources. Based on determining that the symbols are to be unused, the UE may determine that the base station will not reschedule the unused resources for another transmission, for example, having the first priority. The UE and the base station may communicate based on the determination.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may generate an uplink random access message, including a random access preamble and an uplink shared channel resource unit, of a two-step random access procedure. The UE may identify configuration information for uplink control information (UCI) multiplexing. The UE may identify a trigger for inclusion of UCI with the uplink random access message. The UE may multiplex the UCI and a reference signal with the uplink shared channel resource unit and map the uplink control information to resource elements in the uplink shared channel resource unit based on a priority of the uplink control information and a location of resource elements to which the reference signal is mapped. The UE may transmit the uplink random access message comprising the uplink control information and an indication of the used UCI configuration to the base station.
