    Abstract: Methods, apparatus and computer program products are disclosed for structuring Protocol Data Units (PDU). A method comprises: structuring a protocol data unit to include at least one special field in a header part of the protocol data unit and a padding part of the protocol data unit, wherein the at least one special field part indicates a length of the header part and wherein a length of the padding part is based at least on the indicated length of the header part; mapping the protocol data unit onto the trans port block scheduled for transmission between a source entity and a target entity, and transmitting the transport block from the source entity.

The method may include receiving a layer 1/layer 2 triggered mobility configuration for one or more candidate target cells, wherein UE-based TA measurement is enabled for a plurality of cells comprising the one or more candidate target cells and performing user equipment-based timing advance measurements for the plurality of cells according to a first user equipment-based timing advance measurements behavior during a layer 1/layer 2 triggered mobility procedure. An indication to enable a second user equipment-based timing advance measurements behavior may be received.     Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for handling expiry of at least one time alignment timer (TAT) of multiple timing advance groups (TAGs) associated with a serving cell. In an example method, the terminal device receives determines at least two TAGs for a serving cell, wherein the at least two TAGs comprise a primary TAG and a secondary TAG. The terminal device determines whether at least one TAT of the at least two TAGs has expired and maintain, based on determining that the at least one TAT has expired, one of the primary TAG and the secondary TAG. In this way, only a single TAG is maintained once the terminal device has single TAT/no TAT running removing ambiguities in RA procedure/UL signal transmissions. Since the network is aware of the TAT expiry, it knows behaviour of the terminal device and can act accordingly.
