    Abstract: It is provided a method comprising: indicating that a HARQ process is initiated for transmitting at least a first HARQ message comprising an inquiry as the first message of the HARQ process, wherein the inquiry inquires whether a relay terminal for relaying a communication of a transmitting terminal is available; transmitting the first HARQ message using the HARQ process; monitoring whether a HARQ feedback is received from at least one relay terminal in response to the first HARQ message according to the HARQ process; deciding that the at least one relay terminal is available if the HARQ feedback is received from the at least one relay terminal; deciding that the at least one relay terminal is not available if the HARQ feedback is not received from the at least one relay terminal.

    Abstract: A mobile equipment comprising means for: determining to attempt to create a unicast sidelink communication channel between the mobile equipment and an identified target user equipment via a relay user equipment; and sending a relay request message to at least one user equipment, operable as a relay to the target user equipment, wherein the relay request message comprises at least some information for configuring a sidelink process to obtain feedback from the target user equipment. Mobile equipment comprising means for: receiving a relay request message from a source user equipment, the relay request message comprising at least some information for configuring a sidelink process to obtain feedback from the target user equipment; and sending a message to a target user equipment using the configured process, wherein the message is configured for the configured process according to the received information for configuring the sidelink process to obtain feedback from a target user equipment; and sending a relay response message to the source user equipment that is indicative of an outcome of the configured process between the mobile equipment and the target user equipment.

    Abstract: In accordance with example embodiments of the invention there is at least a method and apparatus to perform determining, by a network node, context information of a group of more than one user equipment, wherein the context information is based on at least service related information associated with the more than one user equipment; sending information comprising the context information towards at least one base station of a communication network; and based on the context information, negotiating with the at least one base station timing synchronization requirements for distribution to each user equipment of the group.
