    Abstract: A system, apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium for accurately and efficiently determining communication offsets between at least one user equipment (UE) device and at least one non-terrestrial network (NTN) device may include a UE device including: a memory storing computer readable instructions and at least one processor configured to, determine location information of the UE device; receive group information from a NTN device, the group information including a plurality of group IDs corresponding to a plurality of group coverage areas within a beam coverage area, each of the plurality of group IDs including location information of a corresponding reference point, and group offset information associated with the corresponding reference point; select a group ID from the plurality of group IDs based on the location information of the UE device and the plurality of reference points; and perform UL transmission based on the group offset information.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are disclosed for contention based shared preconfigured uplink resource configuration. An example method includes receiving an assignment of contention based shared preconfigured uplink resources; receiving an assignment of a common radio network temporary identifier for monitoring downlink control information indicating a negative acknowledgement for contention based shared transmission, and a dedicated radio network temporary identifier for monitoring downlink control information indicating an acknowledgement of transmission of uplink data; transmitting the uplink data using a physical uplink shared channel allocated for the contention based shared preconfigured uplink resource transmission; in response to the downlink control information indicating the negative acknowledgement and uplink grants for multiple physical uplink shared channel resources, retransmitting the uplink data on a selected one of the received uplink grants; and in response to the downlink control information indicating the acknowledgment, not retransmitting the uplink data.

    Abstract: A UE in a wireless network receives measurement configuration for group(s) of cells wherein the measurement configuration is for positioning measurements of the UE using signals from base station(s). The UE receives criteria based on the measurement configuration for the UE to trigger report(s) for the group(s) of cells. The UE performs, using at least the measurement configuration, positioning measurements of the group(s) of cells and sends a report that is triggered based at least on the criteria. A network element sends the measurement configuration for the group(s) of cells to the UE. The network element sends the criteria based on the measurement configuration for the UE to trigger the report(s) for the one or more groups of cells. The network element receives a report from the UE that was triggered based at least on the criteria. Methods, software, computer program products, and apparatus are disclosed.
