Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable storage media for determining a transport block size (TBS) for Contention Free Random Access (CFRA) in a random access procedure. In example embodiments, a CFRA request is transmitted by a terminal device to a network device during a random access procedure. The terminal device receives a random access response to the CFRA request from the network device. The random access response indicates a TBS granted by the network device for use in transmission. Based on the granted TBS, the terminal device transmits, to the network device, a first data block with the granted TBS or a second data block to be transmitted and stored in a buffer. In this way, the data loss may be avoided, and the data transmission efficiency may be improved.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method including determining that buffered data associated with a first sub-set of logical channel groups from a set of logical channel groups is available for transmission; generating a buffer status report, the buffer status report comprising information identifying the first sub-set of logical channel groups from a set of logical channel groups; and, associated with a second sub-set of logical channel groups, information identifying the amount of buffered data available for transmission, the second sub-set of logical channel groups being a proper sub-set of the first sub-set of logical channel groups; and transmitting the buffer status report.

Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from improved quality of service flow. A method may include receiving an indication at a radio resource control entity or service data adaptation protocol layer entity in a radio protocol of a receiver from a transmitter. The indication can include instructions to relocate a quality of service flow from a source to a target data radio bearer. The method may also include starting a timer associated with the quality of service. In addition, the method may include buffering data packets received as part of the quality of service flow from the target data radio bearer during a duration of the timer. Further, the method may include allowing for the transmission of the buffered data packets of the quality of service flow received from the target data radio bearer to an upper protocol layer after the duration of the timer has lapsed or stopped.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method, device and computer readable medium for contention resolution in RACH. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the terminal devices transmit random access requests in random access channels and the network device transmits the response to the random access requests on the downlink control channel addressed to the common identifier. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, there is one to multiple mapping for contention resolution radio network temporary identifier (CR-RNTI) and physical RACH (PRACH). In this way, the number of RNTIs is decreased and the overhead is reduced.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a device, a method, an apparatus and a computer readable storage medium for bandwidth part (BWP) switching. In example embodiments, a method is provided. The method comprises determining, at a terminal device, whether continuous Listen-Before-Talk (LBT) failures occur on a first bandwidth part (BWP), the terminal device operating on the first BWP. The method further comprises in response to the continuous LBT failures occurring on the first BWP, switching to a second BWP different from the first BWP. Instead of triggering a re-establishment procedure once continuous LBT failures are detected, switching to another BWP on different LBT sub-channels can be much more efficient than going through the whole re-establishment and reconfiguration procedures.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for prioritized random access during handover are provided. One method may include transmitting, by a source network node, a handover request to a target network node. The handover request may include an indication of a recognition of prioritized random access for a user equipment. The method may also include receiving an acknowledgement from the target network node, building a reconfiguration message, for the user equipment, comprising a prioritized set of random access parameters, and transmitting, to the user equipment, the reconfiguration message comprising the prioritized set of random access parameters.

Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to apparatus, method and computer readable storage media of scheduling request management. The method includes in accordance with a determination that data on a logical channel is available for transmission, determining, at an apparatus, whether there is pending data available for transmission on one or more further logical channels; and in accordance with a determination that there is pending data available for transmission, determining a set of target scheduling request, SR, configurations available for a SR procedure from a plurality of candidate SR configurations associated with the logical channel and the one or more further logical channels; and performing the SR procedure based on the target SR configuration. In this way, the waste of the SR configurations can be avoided and the SR may be transmitted using the fastest SR opportunity.
