Abstract:
The present invention provides an ultrasonograph excellent in operability and mobility by: compactly containing an operation panel on an upper face of a housing in the operation of a standing posture or a moving operation; and positioning the operation panel in front in the operation of a sitting posture. The ultrasonograph contains a main body housing 100 having transfer wheels 101, an operation device 200 having operation switches 400, and a movable arm 300 to connect the main body housing 100 to the operation device 200; the main body housing 100 has an inclined plane 103 inclining rearward from a front face to an upper face; and the movable arm 300 movably supports the operation device 200 through an elevating function mechanical section 301 to move the operation device 200 by using an upper position on the inclined plane 103 as a moving path so as to, in the state of maintaining the posture of the operation device 200, take a second posture Q2 wherein at least a part thereof hangs over the main body housing 100 at a lower position on the inclined plane 103 from a first posture Q1 wherein the operation device 200 is contained within the projected area of the main body housing 100 at an upper position on the inclined plane 103.
Abstract:
Laser beam irradiation areas are provided in a load curve portion and an angle adjustment portion of a suspension. The laser beam irradiation areas are oriented in a direction in which the suspension is to be bent. A laser beam having a predetermined length and a predetermined shape is irradiated onto each laser beam irradiation area.
Abstract:
A large-area superconductor magnetic shield comprising a plurality of small superconductor unit layers stuck onto the surface of a large-area substrate, wherein the external peripheral sections of the adjacent unit layers are overlapped mutually or the end sections of the adjacent unit layers are abutted mutually such that the adjacent unit layers do not make contact with one another. Compared with conventional magnetic shields, the magnetic shielding amount at the overlapping sections of the magnetic shield of the present invention is substantially greater.

An actuator includes a worm provided with a shaft-engaging hole, a motor provided with a shaft having a worm-engaging part for detachably engaging the shaft-engaging hole of the worm and an end cover having a worm-supporting hole for rotatably supporting at least one end of the worm whereby it is possible to provide a compact actuator which is easy to assemble. The motor and worm are supported between upper and lower complementary casings.
Abstract:
A magnetic refrigerator comprising a magnet generating a high-intensity magnetic field, a tube-shaped superconducting magnetic shield, a magnetic working material and a reciprocating means for reciprocatively moving the superconducting magnetic shield or the magnetic working material, the magnetic refrigerator being arranged such that a magnetization process wherein the magnetic working material is magnetized in the high-intensity magnetic field and a demagnetization process wherein the magnetic working material is demagnetized by being accommodated in the hollow section of the magnetic shield are repeated by the reciprocating means so that the magnetic working material generates coldness.By using the property of a tube-shaped superconductor which can shield the magnetism of an external magnetic field passing through the hollow section of the tube and can generate a zero-intensity magnetic field in the hollow section, the magnetic working material magnetized in the high-intensity magnetic field generated by the magnet is inserted into the hollow section of the tube-shaped superconducting shield and is demagnetized in an adiabatic condition to generate coldness. This coldness is used to cool the target cold bath.
Abstract:
An actuator is provided with a motor having a worm, a worm wheel in engagement with said worm and having a pinion-engaging part, a pinion having a worm wheel-engaging part and a rotational axis offset from the rotational axis of the worm wheel, a sector wheel having an output arm and meshing with the pinion, a contact holder, and a positional switch for switching contacts according to the engagement of the contact holder with the sector wheel. The sector wheel is sited at its starting position in a state in which the pinion-engaging part is engaged with the worm wheel-engaging part at a position opposite to the rotational axis of the pinion relative to the rotational axis of the worm wheel. The actuator is compact and uses the motor power very effectively.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a luminaire includes a dim lighting circuit, an emergency unit, a dimming-signal input section, and a dimming control circuit. The dim lighting circuit dimly lights a light source at a dimming ratio corresponding to a dimming signal. The emergency unit includes a charging circuit for charging a battery with an external power supply in a normal time and supplies a power supply of the battery to the dim lighting circuit in an emergency. The dimming-signal input section receives the input of the dimming signal from the outside. The dimming control circuit gives the dimming signal input from the dimming-signal input section to the dim lighting circuit in a normal time and gives a dimming signal having a dimming ratio for an emergency to the dim lighting circuit in an emergency.
Abstract:
In encoding an interlace picture in a field picture, a motion-vector detecting apparatus changes over a reference picture of a P-picture in a field unit, and changes over a reference picture of a B-picture in a frame unit. Moreover, in detecting the motion vector in different predictive directions, the motion-vector detecting apparatus simultaneously carries out a process of the same reference picture by changing over original picture frames.
