Abstract: Methods and devices for noise filtering of a three-dimensional scanner are disclosed. The scan image processing method according to one embodiment comprises: acquiring first scan data values regarding a surface of an object; acquiring second scan data values regarding the surface of the object; determining first vectors connecting the first scan data values from a virtual focus, or second vectors connecting the second scan data values from the virtual focus; determining whether first vectors intersect the second scan data values or second vectors intersect the first scan data values; and, if at least one of the first vectors intersects at least one of the second scan data values, deleting a data value associated with the intersected first vector, and, if at least one of the second vectors intersects at least one of the first scan data values, deleting the first scan data value that intersects with the second vector.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus and an image processing method, according to the present invention, may sense an identifier positioned in a tip to identify unique information such as a serial number of the tip, and may update tip use information assigned to the identified unique information. In some cases, in connection with updating the tip use information, the use information may also be selectively updated based on the type of a scan target to be scanned. Alternatively, a scanning operation of the image processing apparatus may be restricted when a predetermined elapsed time from the removal to the mounting of the tip after scanning an oral cavity is not ensured. Due to the above-mentioned configuration, a user can conveniently recognize when to replace the tip.
