Abstract:
A method of processing data for a Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ) operation in a wireless communication system. The method includes receiving a timing alignment command (TAC) and one or more uplink grants from a network; and generating a data unit. The one or more uplink grants are used for transmitting the generated data unit to the network. The method further includes starting a time alignment timer (TAT) upon receiving the TAC. The TAT is used to control how long a User Equipment (UE) is considered to have an uplink time that is aligned. The method further includes when the TAT expires, clearing the one or more uplink grants.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for supporting a closed subscriber group (CSG) service is provided. A user equipment determines whether a neighbor cell is a CSG member cell for which a CSG whitelist includes a CSG identity of the neighbor cell and PLMN identities of the neighbor cell. The user equipment sends a CSG membership indicator indicating whether the neighbor cell is the CSG member cell.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for supporting a closed subscriber group (CSG) service is provided. The apparatus includes a memory to store CSG subscription information and a processor operatively coupled to the RF unit and memory to implement a radio interface protocol. The processor accesses a base station (BS), transmits the CSG subscription information to the BS, receives an access mode from the BS where the access mode is determined based on the CSG subscription information, and negotiates with the BS with regard to a CSG service if the access mode supports a CSG to which the apparatus belongs.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for reporting by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: acquiring measurement results; starting to acquire location information related to the measurement results; determining whether measurement results satisfy reporting conditions; starting a delay timer; and if the location information is acquired before the delay timer expires, transmitting a reporting message comprising the measurement results and the acquired location information via a network.
Abstract:
According to one aspect of the present invention, a reporting method in a wireless communication system is provided. The method comprises: determining a service state; controlling positioning for acquiring position information based on the service state; acquiring information on the position of a terminal according to the positioning mode determined by said controlling; and reporting the acquired position information to a network.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus of reporting logged measurements of an user equipment in a wireless communication system is provided. The user equipment in a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connected mode receives from a base station a Minimization of Drive Tests (MDT) configuration. The user equipment transitions from the RRC connected mode to an RRC idle mode and logs measurements based on the MDT configuration. The user equipment transmits to the base station a logging indicator indicating an availability of the logged measurement.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for reporting location information are provided. A wireless device transmits a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) control Protocol Data Unit (PDU) to a base station. The PDCP control PDU includes a D(Data)/C(Control) field indicating a control PDU, a PDU type field indicating location information and the location information of the wireless device.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and an apparatus for transmitting a multimedia broadcast/multicast service (MBMS) interest indication message in a wireless communication system. A user equipment (UE) receives from a first base station system information for an MBMS which is broadcasted, and transmits the MBMS interest indication message to the first base station when the user equipment performs a handover from a second base station, which does not broadcast the system information for the MBMS, to the first base station.
Abstract:
A method for performing random access in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes transmitting a preamble for random access in uplink, receiving a random access response message including back-off information as a response to the preamble, and performing back-off using the back-off information when the random access has failed.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method of receiving a timing advance command by a user equipment in a wireless communication system. A terminal receives information on a time advance group from a base station, and also receives the tuning advance command corresponding to the time advance group from the base station.
