Abstract:
The data, as read out from a trunk database, and the read-out data, as processed, are stored in a public database. A setup unit and an operations support unit manage the stored data of the public database and the attribute data of the stored data by a dictionary. In accordance with a demand of a user, an inquiry unit processes and displays the data on the basis of the data stored in the public database and the attribute data.

Abstract:
A process for producing an L-amino acid from the corresponding DL- and/or L-amino acid amide represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having one to 4 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, by action of an enzyme having hydrolytic activity to L-amino acid amides which is produced by Enterobacter cloacae or Pseudomonas sp.
Abstract:
Cells of Pseudomonas bacteria having a high nitrile hydratase activity can be obtained in a high yield by adding sequentially to a culture medium at least one compound selected from the group consisting of propionitrile, isobutyronitrile, propionamide, and isobutyramide in the process of cultivation of Pseudomonas bacteria capable of producing nitrile hydratase.
Abstract:
4-Piperidone ketal derivatives of the formulae ##SPC1##And ##SPC2##Wherein R.sub.1 represents an alkyl group of 1 to 8 carbon atoms and R.sub.2 represents an alkylene group of 2 or 3 carbon atoms or o-phenylene group and they are prepared by reacting triacetonamine with a monohydric alcohol of the formulaR.sub.1 --OH (III)wherein R.sub.1 is as defined above or a dihydric alcohol or phenol of the formulaR.sub.2 --(OH).sub.2 (IV)wherein R.sub.2 is as defined above in the presence of an acid catalyst. They are useful as statilizers against deterioration of synthetic polymers.
Abstract:
An object of the invention is to provide a control apparatus and a control method having a simple constitution, which can stably perform switching of optical path in an optical signal exchanger, while suppressing an influence on a control due to the mechanical resonance of tilt mirrors. To this end, the control apparatus of the optical signal exchanger is constituted such that in an optical signal exchanger of three-dimensional type using one set of MEMS mirror arrays, each having a plurality of tilt mirrors arranged on a plane, each tilt mirror having a reflecting surface an angle of which is controllable, when the angle of the MEMS mirror on the optical path is feedback controlled by detecting power of an optical signal output from a specific position, a resonance component removing section that removes a resonance frequency component included in a control signal is shared corresponding to a pair of driving electrodes arranged in a coaxial direction of the MEMS mirror. As a result, the influence on the feedback control by a resonance action of the MEMS mirror can be reduced, while suppressing an increase in circuit size.
Abstract:
When rotating a recording drum at low speed, air is jetted from air jet ports toward a point of irradiation, in a direction to diffuse a gas generating from an image recording medium upstream with respect to a direction of rotation of a recording drum. An air curtain approximately semicircular about the point of irradiation is formed upstream thereof with respect to the direction of rotation of the recording drum. As a result, the gas can hardly diffuse from the point of irradiation upstream with respect to the direction of rotation of the recording drum. The gas is collected from a gas suction opening. Thus, the gas is reliably prevented from contacting the image recording medium having an image recorded thereon.
Abstract:
A plate fixed to a recording drum is irradiated with a laser beam emitted from an objective lens of a recording head, to generate gas. The recording head has a gas diffusion/suction unit forming an air stream in front of the objective lens. Further, a second suction unit elongated along the rotational axis of the recording drum is arranged between a transport unit supplying the plate to the recording drum and the recording head. Thus, it is possible to prevent the gas not only from contaminating the objective lens but also from diffusing in a housing following rotation of the recording drum. Consequently, an image recorder employing a photosensitive material generating gas in reaction to heat resulting from the laser beam emitted from the recording head can minimize contamination of the recording head, the transport unit etc. arranged in the housing of the apparatus with the gas.
