Abstract: An OFDMA subframe carrying different data fields in different time segments may include a separate short training field (STF), and a separate set of long training fields (LTFs), for each of the data fields to accommodate time-reuse scheduling. Communicating a separate STF for each data field may allow receivers to re-adjust automatic gain control (AGC) when the data fields carry different numbers of space-time-streams. Likewise, communicating separate sets of LTFs for each data field may allow different beamforming parameters to be applied to different data fields.

Abstract: A method includes generating a preamble for a protocol version of a wireless local area network, where the preamble includes a legacy signal (L-SIG) field and a high efficiency signal (HE-SIG) field that are arranged in order, the HE-SIG field includes a first orthogonal frequency division multiplexing OFDM symbol and a second OFDM symbol that are arranged in order, and an input information bit of the first OFDM symbol is the same as that of the second OFDM symbol, and sending the preamble to a receive end device, so that the receive end device restores the preamble, and when determining that input information bits obtained after restoring the first OFDM symbol and the second OFDM symbol are the same, determines that the preamble is the preamble of the protocol version.

The BSS includes an access point (AP) and at least one first station (STA). Both the AP and the at least one first STA participate in channel contention. The apparatus is the AP or any first STA. The apparatus includes a sensing module configured to sense a channel. The apparatus also includes a contention module configured to contend for the channel. The AP centrally performs control and scheduling so that all of at least one network device in the BSS can transmit data using the channel.

Abstract: A method and system for LBT or CCA threshold setting for directional reception and transmission are provided. Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an extended range SU mode PPDU transmission method and apparatus. By applying the method and the apparatus in the embodiments of the present invention, transmission reliability of the data part is improved, performance of parts in the PPDU in an EXT SU mode is more balanced, and a coverage area of long-distance transmission is ensured.

Abstract: A method for dynamically dividing or consolidating sub-bands in-between Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) status measurements upon detection of a CCA bandwidth adjustment condition is provided. The method includes determining at least a single CCA status for at least a single sub-band during a first period, and detecting a CCA bandwidth adjustment condition for dividing the single sub-band into two or more separate sub-bands, where a combination of the two or more separate sub-bands occupies the same frequency band as the single sub-band. The method also includes determining a separate CCA status for each of the two or more separate sub-bands during a second period. An apparatus for performing this method is also provided.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a data transmission method and apparatus. A first access point determines a current working uplink receiving beam, and broadcasts an identifier of the current working uplink receiving beam of the first access point, so that when a first station associated with the first access point determines, according to the identifier of the current working uplink receiving beam of the first access point, that a first transmitting beam at which the first station is currently working is the current working uplink receiving beam of the first access point, the first station performs data transmission with the first access point by using the first transmitting beam. Abstract: A system and method for multiplexing traffic. A wireless device such as a base station may schedule a first transmission of first data (e.g., latency tolerant data) to a first UE on first resources, and transmit second data (e.g., low latency data) to a second UE on a portion of the first resources. The base station may signal a first indicator e.g. via Radio Resource Control (RRC) signaling to the first UE indicating that the first UE is to monitor for a second indicator that itself indicates the presence of second data on the first resources. The base station may then signal a second indicator to the first UE to indicate the presence of the second data on the first resources. By using the first indicator to initiate the monitoring of the second indicator, the first UE can reduce the amount of monitoring it needs to perform if there is no second data traffic in a certain period of time or in a certain frequency band.

Abstract: The method includes generating, by an access point (AP), signaling that includes an AP identifier (ID) field, a bandwidth (BW) field, a guard interval (GI) field, a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) field, and a tail field, the AP ID field is used to indicate an ID of the AP, the BW field is used to indicate bandwidth required for data transmission subsequent to the signaling, the GI is used to indicate a length of a cyclic prefix (CP) required for data transmission subsequent to the signaling, the CRC field is used to guard a field before the CRC field in the signaling, and the Tail field is used to empty an encoder and a decoder, where the CRC field and the Tail field are the last two fields of the signaling. The method also includes sending, by the AP, the signaling.
