Abstract:
A touch sensing method for a touch screen including an image display device with a touch-sensitive screen. The method includes a filtering process that includes calculating an output signal of an nth frame from a sensing signal of the nth frame output from a touch sensing unit configured to sense touches of the touch-sensitive screen, the calculating using an equation F(n)=I(n)×W(n)+F(n−1)×[1−W(n)], wherein F(n) represents the output signal of the nth frame, I(n) represents the sensing signal of the nth frame, F(n−1) represents an output signal of an (n−1)th frame, and W(n) represents a filtering coefficient; and outputting the output signal of the nth frame to an output end. The filtering coefficient is calculated by an equation W ( n ) = I ( n ) - F ( n - 1 ) R , wherein R is a scale constant. The touch sensing method has high touch sensitivity in an environment with heavy noise while being capable of correctly detecting touch coordinates.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an active constant power supply apparatus, which rectifies power having various intensities and frequencies without using a high capacity condenser for a smoothing circuit which degrades the power factor of a circuit, and supplies constant power to a load. The active constant power supply apparatus includes an AC power supplier for supplying AC power; a rectifying circuit which receives AC power from the AC power supply unit and rectifies the received power; a driving coil connected in series to the load receiving power from the rectifying circuit; a power switch which switches the current passing through the driving coil and the load on/off; a pulse-type driving signal generator connected to a gate terminal of the power switch to control the switching on/off operation of the power switch; a turn-off decider which generates a turn-off signal when the current flowing along the driving coil has a value higher than the designed value, so as to turn off the power switch; and a pulse width controller which measures the control period ranging from the switch-on time of the driving signal generator to the switch-off time of the turn-off decider, and controls the driving pulse width of the driving signal generator such that the driving pulse width coincides with the control period.

Abstract:
A method of homogeneously forming functionalized biocompatible oligomers includes the steps of dissolving a biocompatible oligomer in a solvent to form a solution, and admixing at least one π complex forming group to the solution, wherein the π complex forming group grafts to at least one location on the backbone of the oligomer to form a grafted oligomer. The oligomer is preferably oligochitosan and the solvent is preferably dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO). The degree of graft substitution can be at least 50%. The functionalized biocompatible oligomer can be used for drug detoxification through binding to a variety of target drugs.
Abstract:
A data modular based on Gaussian minimum shift keying (GMSK) modulation and a data transmitter including the same in which the data modulator includes a read-only memory (ROM) table storing GMSK modulation data with respect to information bits; a low-pass filter filtering first GMSK modulation data, which is output from the ROM table based on a predetermined input bitstream, and outputting second GMSK modulation data; and a multiplexer selecting and outputting the first GMSK modulation data or the second GMSK modulation data based on a predetermined control signal. The data modulator selectively filters a GMSK modulation signal according to a channel state, thereby effectively controlling trade-off between inter-symbol interference and adjacent channel interference according the channel state.

Abstract:
In an apparatus of forming a thin film, the apparatus has a printing chamber that forms a thin film on a substrate. The apparatus has at least two drying chambers that receive the substrate on which the thin film is formed and dry the thin film on the substrate. The two drying chambers may be independently controlled. Accordingly, the apparatus may reduce process time for forming the thin film without contamination of the substrate.
Abstract:
A refrigerating system includes: an evaporator (2) for performing a cooling operation as a refrigerant is evaporated; a compressor (4) for compressing the refrigerant discharged from the evaporator as a mover is reciprocally moved; a condenser (86) for changing the refrigerant compressed in the reciprocating compressor to a liquid refrigerant; and a capillary tube (8) for decompressing the refrigerant discharged from the condenser and transferring it to the evaporator. Hydrocarbon consisting of carbon and hydrogen, a sort of natural refrigerant, is used as the refrigerant, and a paraffin-based lubricant, a sort of a mineral oil, is used as the lubricant, so that a lubricating performance and a performance of the refrigerating system can be improved.
