Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for monitoring expected behavior of devices in a computing network. Behavior of network devices may include performing various functions associated with transferring data packets through the computing network. Monitoring expected behavior may include sending a probe packet into the computing network, and determining whether network devices behave as expected with respect to the probe packet. In some examples, behaviors such as replicating, forwarding, eliminating, ordering, and/or other functions regarding data packets may be validated using the present techniques. As computing networks and/or operations become more complex, assuring the expected behavior of network devices may become more important for the continued efficient, smooth, successful, and/or timely flow of data traffic.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to BIER forwarding over varying BSL domains, the methods including the steps of receiving, at a border node, a packet comprising a BIER header having a BIER bit string with a first bit string length; reading an incoming label of the packet comprising instructions to split the BIER header into a plurality of smaller headers associated with a plurality of smaller bit strings; generating a set of split bit masks; performing a separate bitwise AND operation on each split bit mask and the BIER bit string to generate the plurality of smaller bit strings, each copied to a corresponding smaller header of the plurality of smaller headers; and performing a lookup for each of the plurality of smaller headers on a respective forwarding table to determine one or more egress routers to which to transmit the packet.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable for multi-spatial scale object detection include generating one or more object trackers for tracking at least one object detected from on one or more images. One or more blobs are generated for the at least one object based on tracking motion associated with the at least one object. One or more tracklets are generated for the at least one object based on associating the one or more object trackers and the one or more blobs, the one or more tracklets including one or more scales of object tracking data for the at least one object. One or more uncertainty metrics are generated using the one or more object trackers and an embedding of the one or more tracklets. A training module for detecting and tracking the at least one object using the embedding and the one or more uncertainty metrics is generated using deep learning techniques.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed systems and methods for control embedding data packets for ARP queries, the methods including the steps of receiving a data plane packet from a first user device, the data plane packet requesting a hardware address associated with a second user device; generating a northbound control plane packet for transmission to a control plane node, the northbound control plane packet for requesting from the control plane node the hardware address associated with the second user device; embedding the data plane packet in the northbound control plane packet; and forwarding the northbound control plane packet with the data plane packet to the control plane node for respective processing of the northbound control plane packet and the data plane packet.

Abstract: A method of orchestrating one or more radio resources among various services executing within a container. The method includes obtaining, by an orchestration engine executing on a network device, a request, from a first service of a plurality of services, for use of a physical/hardware resource that connects a container running on the network device to a network. The request from the first service has a particular priority. The plurality of services execute within the container. The method further includes determining whether to connect the first service to the network via the physical/hardware resource based on the priority and an availability status of the physical/hardware resource and establishing, at a kernel level, a connection between the first service and the physical/hardware resource based on the determining.

Abstract: Methods and systems for sensor fusion as a service include receiving a sensor fusion intent descriptive of desired data from a specified environment; determining candidate sensors present in the specified environment that may be used to obtain at least a portion of the desired data; and transforming the sensor fusion intent into a sensor fusion manifest by selecting a plurality of the candidate sensors to obtain respective output data, and by defining at least one action to fuse the respective output data into the desired data, wherein the sensor fusion manifest includes an identification of the selected candidate sensors and the at least one action to fuse the respective output data from the selected candidate sensors into the desired data.
