Abstract:
A method for establishing a long-term profile of blood sugar level aiding self-control of the same is provided. The present method includes periodically obtaining a specimen from a patient, and detecting a response of the specimen. Obtaining a blood sugar value of the patient based on the response, and storing the blood sugar values periodically measured. Establishing a long-term profile of blood sugar level from the measured blood sugar values in a form of chart. Furthermore, when the variation of the long-term profile of blood sugar level exceeds a standard, generating a warning signal informing the patient. When the variation of the long-term profile of blood sugar level does not exceed the standard, generating a safety signal informing the patient.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a determination method to obtain the optimum image output quality. The method comprising the standard white plate is scanned prior to the scanning document sheet to obtain a first image data. Then, the first image data is calculated to generate the shading curve, noise level, and brightness data, which corresponding to each sensor device. Next, the shading curve or standard values returned to input into the calibration database. Thereafter, the scanning device scanned and exposed the document sheet to obtain a second imaging data that corresponding to each sensor device and to read out the standard curve (shading curve) from the calibration memory simultaneously. Next, a determination method utilized to determine the difference value between the two pixels at neighboring position, if the difference value is smaller than the standard value, then the two neighboring pixels is to be averaged and outputted the average value; else, the output pixel value is equal to the original position of the pixel value. Finally, the corrected image data is outputted which is corrected by calibration method.
Abstract:
A lamp protection device of an optical image scanner is disclosed. The lamp protection device comprises a chassis having a lamp holder and a lamp therein and buffer means for absorbing shock on lamp. The chassis moves under a transparent sheet of the optical image scanner and scan a document places on the transparent sheet. The buffer means for absorbing shock on lamp contact and provides the lamp with damping when said chassis end scanning and is locked.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a scanning method by using a virtual frame holder. The method includes using a computer drive scan program to perform a scanning preview, thereby showing an object image pattern on screen. Next, frame holder specification parameters are used. It is judged whether the frame holder specification parameter data source are used. If the judgement is yes, the frame holder specification is selected from the frame holder specification parameters data source. If the judgement is no, a frame holder specification parameter is created from the frame holder specifications. By using the computer a scan area is dragged and the scan position is calibrated automatically by using the drive scan program. Finally, using a drive scan program the object image is scanned.
Abstract:
An imaging device for an optical scanning module of an optical scanner apparatus is disclosed. By use of an optical well imaging device to replace the conventional micro-lens imaging device to receive the straight imaged light, which is generated from the scanning object is illuminated by an illuminant. Moreover, the height of the non-inducted region on the optical sensor is higher enough to block the interfered light that is formed by other beam of the imaged light such that the optical sensor can receive the part of the beam of the straight imaged light and will not be interfered. Therefore, by use of the optical well imaging device, the light dispersion effect can be improved and the imaging data can be completely focused on the optical sensor to obtain an optimum resolution and the best MTF (modulation transfer function).
Abstract:
A stepping motor controlling device and method are provided. The controlling device comprises a control circuit and a serial in-parallel out interface. The control circuit includes a motor controlling signal generator and a parallel in-serial out interface. The motor controlling signal generator generates a set of controlling signals in parallel and via the parallel in-serial out interface sends the set of controlling signals to the serial in-parallel out interface. The serial in-parallel out interface receives the set of control signals in sequence and then outputs them in parallel to a stepping motor driver for driving a stepping motor to a predetermined step.
Abstract:
In accordance with the present invention, a method and a system for promoting scanning speed are provided. The method comprises steps of determining a transmission rate of a transit interface, adjusting system clock responsive to the transmission rate of the transit interface to change a data generated rate, and scanning an original to generate data at the rate controlled by the system clock. The key aspect of the present invention is by adjusting system clock to change the data generated rate corresponding to the transmission rate of the transit interface. Therefore, in response to the transmission rate of the transit interface, the system clock is adjusted to produce the data at a rate that can reduce the possibility of memory buffer full leading to the reduction in the time wasting on start-stop processes and therefore promote the scanning speed without requiring the increase in size of a memory buffer.
Abstract:
In accordance with the present invention, a method and a system for increasing scanning speed are provided. The method comprises steps of determining a transmission rate of a transit interface, scanning an original to generate an image data, and adjusting a cycle time of the image data to change a data generated rate responsive to the transmission rate of the transit interface. The key aspect of the present invention is by adjusting the cycle time of a state machine to change the data generated rate corresponding to the transmission rate of the transit interface. Therefore, in response to the transmission rate of the transit interface, the cycle time of the state machine is adjusted to produce the data at a rate that prevents the smearing process. Thus, incorporated with the present invention, the possibility of memory buffer full is reduced leading to the reduction in the time wasting on start-stop processes and therefore the overall scanning speed is increased without requiring the increase in size of a memory buffer.
