摘要: The present invention relates to monoclonal antibodies that bind to the CD160-TM isoform. The inventors developed new monoclonal antibodies which bind to the CD160-TM isoform but dot not bind to the CD160 GPI-anchored isoform not to the CD160 soluble isoform. In particular, the antibodies of the present invention are suitable for amplifying NK cell activation and therefore cytotoxic functions NK cells.

摘要: The present invention relates to methods and pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of autoimmune inflammatory diseases. The inventors showed that orexin receptor antagonists have anti-inflammatory properties. Indeed, these compounds are antagonist for OX1R-mediated calcium mobilization but a full agonist for OX1R-mediated mitochondrial apoptosis, which is the mechanism involved in the improvement of resolution of inflammation observed in the models of colitis, multiple sclerosis and pancreatitis. In particular, the present invention relates to a method of treating an autoimmune inflammatory disease in a subject in need thereof comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of at least one OX1R antagonist.

摘要: Disclosed is CD31shed for use as a molecular imaging target in the molecular imaging of an inflammatory condition. Administering the radiolabeled peptide P8RI as CD31shed ligand in different rat models of inflammation indeed showed that CD31shed is present on activated cells in a quantity allowing a detectable signal, whereas the noise signal corresponding to CD31shed present on activated circulating cells and on other organs or cells not involved in inflammation was little. Also disclosed is a labeled CD31shed ligand and the use thereof as a molecular imaging agent in the molecular imaging of an inflammatory condition. The molecular imaging of inflammatory sites particularly allows determining whether a subject suffers from or is at risk of having an inflammatory condition or is at risk of recurrence of an inflammatory condition after an anti-inflammatory treatment.

摘要: A method and system for secure ultrasound treatment of living tissues using an ultrasound probe comprising a reflective cavity in acoustic communication with living tissues, a transducer to emit an ultrasound wave in the reflective cavity and a transducer to acquire a backscattered signal in the reflective cavity. The method comprises the steps of a) emitting a first ultrasound wave in the reflective cavity that generates a backscattered ultrasound wave in the reflective cavity, b) acquiring a backscattered signal in the reflective cavity, c) determining whether an insonification can be safely performed by computing a similarity value between the backscattered signal and a predefined reference signal, and d) if an insonification can be safely performed, treating the living tissues with a second ultrasound wave emitted in the reflective cavity. The second ultrasound wave is focused a target point of the living tissues and generates a pressure pulse resulting in cavitation at this target point
