    Abstract: A method by a count database node monitors content of subscriber accounts processed by an online charging system in a communication network for user equipment nodes. The method includes receiving by the count database node a plurality of data records. Each data record contains a subscriber identifier and an attribute to be provisioned for the subscriber. For each of the data records, the data record is sorted for storage in database structures maintained by the count database node based on the attribute of the data record. The method further includes determining a count value based on a number of the data records stored in the database structures maintained by the count database node containing an attribute defined by a query received by the count database node, and providing the count value from the count database node to another node.

    Abstract: A method is executed by a network device for implementing conversation-sensitive collection for frames received on a port of a link of a link aggregation group. The network device executes an aggregator to collect the frames for aggregator clients, where each frame is associated with a service identifier and a conversation identifier. The service identifier identifies a data flow at a link level for a service. The conversation identifier identifies the data flow at a link aggregation group level, where each conversation data flow consists of an ordered sequence of frames, and where the conversation-sensitive collection maintains the ordered sequence by discarding frames of conversations not allocated to the port.

    Abstract: The available transmission resources on a downlink-shared channel are divided into resource blocks, each resource block comprising a predetermined number of sub-carriers during a predetermined time period. The resource blocks are subdivided into localized resource blocks and distributed resource blocks. A user requiring sufficient resources can be allocated a plurality of said localized resource blocks. A user who would require only a small number of said localized resource blocks can instead be allocated subunits of a plurality of said distributed resource blocks.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method in a cellular communication system, for avoiding errors in a HARQ process, wherein an NDI flag is used both for indicating either semi-persistent scheduling, SPS activation or SPS retransmissions, and also for indicating, by toggling of the flag, a new transmission in dynamic scheduling mode. The method comprises the steps of receiving, in a scheduling message, an indication that dynamically scheduled transmission will take place; if a semi persistent resource has occurred for the same HARQ process since a previously received indication for dynamically scheduled transmission, then considering the NDI flag to be toggled regardless of the value of the NDI flag. Thus, if the condition is fulfilled, a UE will always regard the NDI flag as indicating or requesting a new data transmission.

    Abstract: Systems and methods enabling uplink power sharing for dual connectivity are disclosed. Embodiments are described herein in which a maximum Uplink (UL) power on each link is configured statically, semi-statically, or dynamically. In general, regardless of the embodiment, uplink power for uplink transmissions from a wireless device on two simultaneous links is controlled such that the total uplink power does not exceeds a maximum UL transmission power level while, in some embodiments, taking into account priorities of the two links and/or priorities of various uplink channels transmitted by the wireless device on the two links. Notably, while the embodiments described herein focus on dual connectivity, the embodiments described herein can easily be extended to any number of two or more simultaneous links.

    Abstract: A method in a terminal for inter RAT access selection is provided. The terminal is capable to operate in one or more RATs. The terminal receives (201) (202), from a network node, one or more dedicated parameters relating to inter RAT access selection, and one or more broadcasted parameters relating to inter RAT access selection. The one or more broadcasted parameters correspond to the respective one or more dedicated parameters. The one or more broadcasted parameters relates to inter RAT access selection. The terminal then acts (203) for inter RAT access selection according to any one out of: —one or more updated dedicated parameters, updated based on changes to corresponding one or more broadcast parameters, and—any one out of the one or more received dedicated parameters, updated dedicated parameters, or corresponding broadcasted parameters, based on whether one or more conditions are fulfilled or not.
