摘要: The invention provides multicast communication using distributed topologies in a network. The control nodes in the network build a distributed topology of processor nodes for providing multicast packet distribution. Multiple processor nodes in the network participate in the decisions regarding the forwarding of multicast packets as opposed to multicast communications being centralized in the control nodes.

摘要: A dosage form comprises: (a) at least one active ingredient; (b) a core having an outer surface; and (c) a shell which resides upon at least a portion of the core outer surface, wherein at least a portion of the shell is semipermeable, such that the liquid medium diffuses through the semipermeable shell or shell portion to the core due to osmosis. The shell also provides for delivery of the active ingredient to a liquid medium outside the shell after contacting of the dosage form with the liquid medium. The dosage form delivers one or more active ingredients in a controlled manner upon contacting of the dosage form with a liquid medium. The dosage form may be employed to provide a burst release of the active ingredient, or to provide release of the active ingredient at an ascending release rate over an extended time period upon contacting of the dosage form with a liquid medium. At least a portion of the shell may be comprised of a polymeric composition containing film former, gelling agents, which can be dissolved in a multisolvent system comprised of water and an organic solvent.

摘要: A free-wheeling lock mechanism for operating a door latch includes a body, a handle, a lock and a split shaft having two halves rotationally connected together along the shaft axis. One half of the shaft is connected to the handle and one half extends from the body to operate the door latch. The two halves of the shaft may be coupled and uncoupled via a shaft lock movable perpendicular between locked and unlocked positions. In the unlocked position the shaft lock connects the two halves of the shaft to rotate together when the handle is turned. In the locked position the shaft lock disengages the two halves of the shaft to rotate separately and allow the handle to free-wheel without operating the door latch.

摘要: A free-wheeling lever handle controller for operating a mortise lock provides free-wheeling functionality while maintaining the full operational characteristics of various mortise lock functions. A lock mode receiving mechanism connectable to the lock output is used to detect the unlocked and locked conditions of the mortise lock, and correspondingly engage and disengage the free-wheeling mechanism. The free-wheeling mechanism has a split shaft connected between a handle on the controller and a handle input on the mortise lock. The two halves of the shaft may be coupled and uncoupled via a shaft lock movable perpendicular between locked and unlocked positions. In the unlocked position the shaft lock connects the two halves of the shaft to rotate together when the handle is turned. In the locked position the shaft lock disengages the two halves of the shaft to rotate separately and allow the handle to free-wheel with operating the door latch. The shaft lock is moved by the lock slide/cam coupler of the lock mode receiving mechanism, which converts the rotational motion of the lock output into linear motion the of lock slide, such that whenever the mortise lock is locked, the handle controller free-wheels.

摘要: During transmission, a speed of sound pulses gradually reduces due to acoustic impedance. Regulating a length or a density or a sound speed of the sound pulses affects their average speed in the transmitting medium, sound intensity and detecting depth. Time of flight (TOF) and TOF shift can be used to calculate the depth and moving speed of detecting objects. Calculating a speed of moving objects by simultaneously detecting TOF shift at same site from two separated piezoelectric (PZT) elements improves the testing results with accuracy, simplification and reproducibility. Coding sound pulses to obtained the TOF and the TOF shift will simultaneously calculate the depth and the moving speed of sampling points, which can be used to construct 2D and 3D images for these motionless and/or moving sampling points. Coded sound pulses also improves the quality of the imaging.
