Abstract:
The present invention relates to a plasma display apparatus in which the noise of a data pulse can be reduced. In the transmission process of an image signal, a low voltage signal comprising a first signal and a second signal, preferably at least one of a LVDS, a BLVDS and a MLVDS is employed. This can reduce the influence of EMI noise on the image signal. Therefore, the present invention is advantageous in that the operational reliability of a plasma display apparatus can be enhanced and the picture quality of an image implemented can be prevented from being degraded. It is also possible to save power consumption. Furthermore, a data board is omitted and image data of a low voltage is directly supplied from a control board to a flexible substrate. Therefore, there are advantages in that the cost incurred by the data board can be saved and the manufacturing unit cost of a driving apparatus of a plasma display panel can be saved accordingly. The plasma display apparatus of the present invention comprises a low voltage image data transmitter for converting an externally input image signal into low voltage image data and for transmitting the converted low voltage image data, a low voltage image data receiver for receiving the low voltage image data and for restoring an image signal, and a data drive IC unit for supplying the image signal restored by the low voltage image data receiver to an address electrode of a plasma display panel through a switching operation.
Abstract:
According to one aspect, a monolithically formed rotational flexure bearing is provided. In one example, the rotational flexure bearing includes a stationary portion, a rotating portion, and at least one flexure element. The stationary portion, rotating portion, and at the at least one flexure element are monolithically formed. The rotating portion is coupled to the stationary portion through the at least one flexure element, thereby allowing relative rotation of the rotating portion with respect to the stationary portion. The stationary portion may include a center axis portion along a rotational axis of the flexure bearing and opposing fixed plates on either end, the rotating portion positioned between the opposing fixed plates. The flexure elements may extend from the center axis portion to the rotating portion. The flexure bearing may include between 2 or more flexure elements.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for preparing oltipraz. The method includes reacting methyl 2-methyl-3-(pyrazin-2-yl)-3oxopropionate with phosphorus pentasulfide in the presence of a mixed solvent of toluene and xylene, followed by recrystallization.
Abstract:
A methodology is disclosed that enables the delay stages of an analog delay locked loop (DLL) or phase locked loop (PLL) to be programmed according to the operating condition, which may depend on the frequency of the input reference clock. The resulting optimized delay stages allow for a broad frequency range of operation, fast locking time over a wide range of input clock frequencies, and a lower current consumption at high clock frequencies. Better performance is achieved by allowing the number of analog delay stages active during a given operation to be flexibly set. The deactivation or turning off of unused delay stages conserves power at higher frequencies. The high frequency range of operation is increased by using a flexible number of delay stages for various input clock frequencies. Because of the rules governing abstracts, this abstract should not be used to construe the claims.

Abstract:
An apparatus and method for detecting a surface status. The method includes generating first and second pulse sequences and irradiating the first and second pulse sequences into a given surface. Light from the first and second pulses may be scattered by the given surface and analyzed to determine the status of the given surface. The apparatus includes a device for generating pulses which contact a given surface at different incident angles. The light scattered from the pulses may be analyzed at a determining part to determine a status of the given surface. In another embodiment, the method includes generating first and second pulse sequences and adjusting a path of at least a portion of at least one of the first and second pulse sequences such that the first and second pulse sequences are incident upon a given surface at different incident angles.
