    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided reducing storage space occupied by a media asset by adjusting quality levels of the media asset downward over time. This may be accomplished by a media guidance application that store, at a given time, the media asset in a first format having a first quality level. The media guidance application retrieves, from a database, a data entry corresponding to the media asset and determines, based on the data entry, a threshold period of time for storing the media asset in the first format. The media guidance application detects whether the threshold period of time since the given time has passed and responds by altering a first portion of the media asset from the first format having the first quality level to a second format having a second quality level that is inferior to the first quality level.

    Abstract: Methods and systems are described for providing media content for continuous watching. A rewind command is received while a first episode of a series is generated for display. In response, and without detecting a further command to skip a portion of an episode, the first episode of the series is rewound. Then, in response to rewinding the first episode to the beginning, title credits of the first episode and end credits of a previous episode of the series are automatically skipped; and the previous episode of the series is automatically rewound.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for providing smart communications in a video game environment are disclosed. A first positional vector of a first user within a video game environment and a second positional vector of a second user within the video game environment are determined. In a first communication between the first user and second user, the first positional information is detected and a first translation vector between the first positional vector of the first user and the second positional vector of the second user is calculated. Based on the first translation vector, the first positional information is corrected, and the corrected positional information is transmitted to the second user.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing voice interactions based on user context. Data is received that causes a voice interaction to be generated for output at a user device during an output time interval. In response, current user contextual data of the user device is retrieved. The voice interaction and output time interval are altered to increase consumption likelihood of the voice interaction based on the current user contextual data. The altered voice interaction is outputted at the user device during the altered output time interval.
