    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter device may determine whether a packet, to be transmitted by the transmitter device, is compressed; generate a header for transmission of the packet based at least in part on the determination, wherein the header includes a context identifier indicating whether the packet is compressed; and transmit the packet and the header.     Abstract: Apparatus, methods and computer-readable media for broadcast of multiple physical cell identity ranges are disclosed herein. A user equipment (UE) can receive system information (SI) containing physical cell identities (PCIs) associated with a first cell type or a second cell type, in which the first cell type is accessible to a first set of UEs and the second cell type is accessible to a second set of UEs and a second set of PCIs containing PCIs corresponding to a set of cells of the second cell type. The UE can also monitor for cells with a PCI in the first set of PCIs or the second set of PCIs. A base station may generate the SI indicating the first set of PCIs and the second set of PCIs. Additionally, the base station can communicate the SI to one or more UEs.

    Abstract: In an aspect, a UE may perform clock synchronization in accordance with a first network timing reference, such as a unicast network timing reference (UNTR) or a broadcast networking timing reference (BNTR). The UE may detect event(s) associated with a connection to a BS, which may trigger a switch between the UNTR and the BNTR for clock synchronization. In a further aspect, a communications device (e.g., UE or BS) may determine to transition a UE between the BNTR and UNTR for clock synchronization, and may perform one or more actions to facilitate the network timing reference transition.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device may aggregate multiple data bits into a group of data bits associated with an application on the device. The device may determine quality of service parameters associated with the group of data bits. The quality of service parameters may include an error rate associated with the group of data bits, a delay budget associated with the group of data bits, timing information associated with the group of data bits, or content policy information associated with the group of data bits, or a combination thereof. The device may transmit the group of data bits to another device in the wireless communication system. The group of data bits may include group header information including an indication of the quality of service parameters.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for operating a user equipment (UE) in a next generation (NG) radio access network (RAN) (NG-RAN) to validate a system information block (SIB) for non-public networks (NPNs). In one aspect, a UE receiving a SIB-one (SIB1) from a cell of the NG-RAN may determine whether the cell supports non-public networks (NPNs) based on the received SIB1. If so case, the UE may determine whether an NPN-identifier (NPN-ID) in the received SIB1 matches an NPN-ID of a SIB stored in memory. If so, the UE may validate the stored SIB based at least in part on the received SIB1. If not, the UE may invalidate the stored SIB and obtain a new SIB per standard procedures.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support improved assignment techniques for dynamic group common physical control channels. In some cases, a user equipment (UE) may receive a control message via a group common control channel. The control message may be monitored by a plurality of UEs, and the control message may include one or more control information segments for a set of UEs of the plurality. The control message may include one or more integer values associated with respective control information segments and a prime number. The integer values and the prime number may be configured to address each UE of the set of UEs. The UE may process the prime number, the integer values, and an integer value that corresponds to an identifier (ID) of the UE to determine applicability of the control message to the UE.

    Abstract: A non-MNO PSP network maintains a table that maps external subscriber identifiers of UEs to intermediate subscriber identifiers of the UEs on an interface between the non-MNO PSP network and NHN(s). The non-MNO PSP network obtains an SCEF-related message including either an external subscriber identifier or an intermediate subscriber identifier for the UE. Using the table, the non-MNO PSP network forwards the SCEF-message to a serving NHN or to an external application. In another embodiment, an NHN maintains a table that maps internal identifiers of UEs within the NHN to intermediate subscriber identifiers that identify the UEs on an interface between the NHN and non-MNO PSP(s). The NHN obtains an SCEF-related message that includes an intermediate subscriber identifier or an internal identifier for the UE. Using the table, the NHN either processes the SCEF-related message within the NHN, or forwards the SCEF-related message to a non-MNO PSP outside the NHN.
