Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for bit interleaving for sidelink communication with interlaced waveform. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes mapping first bits and second bits to resource blocks (RBs) such that the first bits are mapped to first subcarriers of the RBs, a first subset of the second bits are mapped to the first subcarriers, and a second subset of the second bits are mapped to second subcarriers of the REs; and transmitting the first bits and the second bits via the RBs according to the mapping.

Abstract: In various embodiments supporting directional security, a user equipment (UE) may receive from a network device a noise resource allocation including an indication of a noise direction and a noise parameter, generate a noise signal based at least in part on the noise parameter, and transmit the noise signal in the noise direction while transmitting a communication transmission signal in a different direction from the noise direction. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques at a user equipment (UE) provide for efficiently falling back to a half-duplex mode from a full-duplex mode when a level of interference is high. In particular, the UE may measure the level of interference at the UE (e.g., caused at least partially by self-interference between transmissions and receptions at the UE), and the UE may fall back to a half-duplex mode if the level of interference is above a threshold. In one example, the UE may transmit channel state information (CSI) reference signals (CSI-RSs) on resources allocated for interference measurements, and the UE may perform measurements on the CSI-RSs to identify a level of interference. In another example, the UE ay transmit a data packet on resources allocated for interference measurements, and the UE may decode the data packet to identify a level of interference.

The usages may be associated with the combined resource usage schedule, which may be indicative of excluded resources for a transmission of the UE. The UE may transmit, based on the combined resource usage schedule, the transmission of the UE on a resource other than the excluded resources.
