Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a wakeup radio in a wireless communication system, e.g., in 5G NR systems and beyond. An RRC state is introduced to support a wakeup radio/, including defining transition mechanisms to/from existing RRC states. Further, signaling is introduced to activate a wakeup radio/activate an RRC low power state. Additionally, a bandwidth part framework for a wakeup signal is defined in which a base station may configure one or more time/frequency resources or a wakeup signal for a wakeup radio. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for group based Layer 1 Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (L1-SINR) measurement and report. The system according to the present disclosure includes at least a network device and a wireless device. A network device (such as a gNB) including at least a first Transmission and Reception Point (TRP) and a second TRP may generate a message used for a wireless device (such as a user equipment (UE)) to perform L1-SINR measurement, wherein the L1-SINR measurement is related to inter-beam interference for beams associated with the first TRP and the second TRP. The message may at least include: (1) a first channel measurement resource (CMR) set including multiple CMRs for the first TRP, and a first interference measurement resource (IMR) set including multiple IMRs for the first TRP, which is corresponding to the first CMR set; (2) a second CMR set including multiple CMRs for the second TRP, and a second IMR set including multiple IMRs for the second TRP, which is corresponding to the second CMR set; and (3) relation information, indicating the relation between the first CMR set and the second IMR set, and the relation between the second CMR set and the first IMR set. The network device sends the message to the wireless device, such that the wireless device may perform the L1-SINR measurement with respect to multiple CMR pairs at least based on the received message and then send corresponding report of the L1-SINR measurement to the network device.

Abstract: Techniques, described herein, include solutions for managing uplink control information (UCI) transmission for a channel state information (CSI) report resulting from measurements of CSI measurement resources. In response to the CSI report exceeding allocated uplink resources of a UCI transmission, a compressed CSI report can be generated by performing an uplink control information (UCI) omission to omit parameters of the CSI report based on components comprising frequency domain (FD) components and time domain (TD) components of the MIMO codebook configuration. The UCI transmission can be generated with the compressed CSI report.

Abstract: A base station and user equipment (UE) may determine, based on a synchronization signal block (SSB) burst and an offset, an index slot, of a system frame number (SFN), corresponding to a Type0-PDCCH common search space (CSS). The base station may transmit, and the UE may receive, a PDCCH signal that includes the Type0-PDCCH CSS, such that the UE may monitor the Type0-PDCCH CSS from the base station. The offset (Ou) may be hardcoded as one of values 0, 2.5, 5, or 7.5, and one offset value may be used for one, more than one, or all SCS numerologies. Abstract: Techniques described herein may enable base stations and user equipment (UEs) to implement initial access related signaling that may vary the number of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) transmitted by a base station to better ensure that control frame transmissions (e.g., 120 kilohertz (kHz) subcarrier spacing (SCS) transmissions) are not overly encumbered by SSBs. A base station may indicate whether a discovery burst transmission window (DBTW) is enabled or disabled, whether listen-before-talk (LBT) is enabled or disabled, and whether transmissions correspond to a licensed band, unlicensed band, or combination thereof. The base station may also indicate a number of candidate SSBs per DBTW and/or which SSBs/SSB groups are active (e.g., actually transmitted) per discovery burst (DB).

Abstract: A method is to provide traffic related information in lower layers for an XR system and associated apparatuses. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) is configured to receive traffic related information from a peer UE or an application server. A CFRA transmit timing can be determined based on the CSI-RS rough timing or a CSI-RS fine timing that is derived from a timing and frequency (T/F) tracking operation on the CSI-RS. Reference signal receive power (RSRP) measurement(s) can be made on the CSI-RS for performing the CSI-RS based CFRA procedure with transmissions according to the CSI-RS transmit timing of the CSI-RS that satisfies an RSRP threshold.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for performing partial frequency domain transmissions in a wireless communication system. A wireless device and a cellular base station may establish a wireless link. The wireless device may receive an uplink grant from the cellular base station. The uplink grant may provide a set of time domain resources and a set of frequency domain resources on which to perform an uplink transmission. The wireless device may select a subset of frequency domain resources from the set of frequency domain resources and perform the uplink transmission using the selected resources.
