    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a transmit power control (TPC) command that is based at least in part on a scheduled transmission of a sidelink communication. The UE may determine, based at least in part on refraining from transmitting the sidelink communication or transmitting the sidelink communication at a power that is lower than a power configured for the scheduled transmission of the sidelink communication, whether to adjust a transmit power of the UE based at least in part on the TPC command. The UE may selectively adjust the transmit power of the UE based at least in part on determining whether to adjust the transmit power. Numerous other aspects are provided.

In some aspects, a transmission-adjusting wireless node may transmit a first communication via a sidelink channel. The transmission-adjusting wireless node may receive, from a feedback-reporting wireless node, transmission-specific information relating to at least one of a channel quality of the sidelink channel or a power level for the transmission-adjusting wireless node. The transmission-specific information may be based at least in part on the first communication. The transmission-adjusting wireless node may adjust, based at least in part on the transmission-specific information, a transmission property of the transmission-adjusting wireless node to obtain an adjusted transmission property. The transmission-adjusting wireless node may transmit a second communication via the sidelink channel using the adjusted transmission property. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating beam-based sequence spaces for synchronization signals are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication for a first device includes selecting a subset of synchronization signal block (SSB) occasions including SSB occasions within an SSB period, and wherein the subset of SSB occasions is associated with a pairing of a primary synchronization signal (PSS) and a secondary synchronization signal (SSS). The example method also includes transmitting an SSB using at least one SSB occasion from the subset of SSB occasions. An example method for wireless communication for a user equipment (UE) includes selecting a synchronization signal pairing associated with a pairing of a PSS and a SSS, wherein the synchronization signal pairing maps to a subset of SSB occasions including SSB occasions within an SSB period, and also includes monitoring for an SSB at each SSB occasion from the subset of SSB occasions.

In some embodiments, the method includes detecting a failure to decode a first communication from a network entity.     Abstract: Systems and methods establishing and maintain a direct User Equipment to User Equipment communication link are disclosed. A User Equipment (UE) may receive a Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) from a neighboring UE. The UE may determine from the SRS that the UE is a good candidate for a direct link. The UE may also determine from the SRS an ID associated with the neighboring UE. The UE may send a direct link request to the UE serving gNB. The serving gNB may forward the request to a gNB serving the neighboring UE. The gNBs may negotiate a joint schedule for a beam a UE to UE beam search. The beam search may be conducted using SRS resources. The results of the beam search may be sent to the gNB and the gNB may determine a beam pair for a direct link.
