Abstract: An electronic device and a thumbnail generation method for screen recording video thereof are provided. The method is adapted to the electronic device including a display and includes the following steps. A screen recording function is activated, and a screen recording video is generated. At least one event of an application present in the screen recording video is identified. A frame of the screen recording video is selected according to event information of one of the at least one event. A thumbnail of the screen recording video is generated using the frame associated with the application, and the thumbnail is displayed on a user interface via the display.

Abstract: A system can be utilized to retrieve media content and rating schemas, to determine maturity ratings for media content. The media content can be utilized to determine segments of data as building blocks associated with mature content. The building blocks can be mapped to content descriptors and rating levels associated with the rating schemas. The building blocks can be compared the media content to identify portions of the media content that have characteristics represented by the building blocks. The building blocks representing the characteristics in the portions of the media content can be utilized to select content descriptors and rating levels associated with the media content. The selected content descriptor and selected rating levels can be utilized to control how, and/or whether, the media content is made available for output to the consumers.

Abstract: Methods for automatically suggesting content items to an author of a digital page so that they can be added to the page. One embodiment comprises a method that includes opening a digital page in a digital page editor and launching a component browser that enables the viewing of a set of digital content items stored in a content repository. Textual information is extracted from the digital page and the digital assets contained in the page. This information is analyzed to identify words indicative of the page's subject matter. A query is generated based on the identified words and submitted to a search engine, which searches the repository for items related to the subject matter of the page. The content items identified by the search results are displayed to the author, who can select one of the items to add it to the page.

Abstract: In some aspects, the disclosure is directed to methods and systems for automatic context-based annotation by leveraging a priori knowledge from annotations in template documents. A large library of template documents may be generated and pre-processed in many implementations to identify annotations or other inclusions commonly present on documents related to or conforming to the template. Newly scanned documents may be compared to these templates, and when a similar template is identified, annotation locations and types from the template may be applied to the newly scanned document to recognize and classify annotations and inclusions. To increase efficiency and provide scalability, comparisons of scanned documents and template documents may be distributed amongst a plurality of computing devices for processing in parallel, with similarity results aggregated.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for identifying an object type under a person's clothing is provided herein. During operation, an anomaly is detected and imaged by a camera based on a wrinkle pattern of a person's clothing. A distance, angle, and height are determined between the camera and the anomaly. Once the distance, angle, and height are determined, multiple images are generated that model various weapons under cloth for the particular distance, angle, and height. The various generated images are compared to an image of the detected anomaly to determine an image having a best match.
