    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), a configuration of a radio link monitoring resource for a radio link that transports downlink traffic for a first type of service, the first type of service having a higher reliability specification and a lower latency specification than a second type of service offered by the base station. The UE may receive the configuration, and detect that the radio link satisfies a failure condition for the first type of service based on monitoring the RLM resource. The UE may transmit a radio link failure (RLF) indication for the first type of service to the base station based on detecting that the radio link satisfies the failure condition for the first type of service. The base station may receive the RLF from the UE, and transmit an RLF response to the UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently transmitting uplink signals to a base station using shared antennas. A first device may be in communications with a base station using local antennas and may identify a second device having auxiliary antennas available for transmitting uplink signals to the base station. Because the local antennas and auxiliary antennas may have different capabilities (e.g., due to different power or other constraints), the first device may generate first uplink signals for transmission using the local antennas differently from second uplink signals for transmission using the auxiliary antennas. The first device may transmit the first uplink signals to the base station using the local antennas and transmit the second uplink signals to the second device for transmission to the base station using the auxiliary antennas based on different configurations.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A UE may identify a capability for downlink control channel monitoring and uplink cancellation indication monitoring. The UE may transmit, to a base station, an indication of the identified uplink cancellation indication monitoring capability. The base station may receive the indication from the UE, and may configure monitoring occasions in a slot based on the received uplink cancellation indication monitoring capability. The base station may transmit via radio resource control signaling, and the UE may receive, a configuration which configures a number of monitoring occasions based on the uplink cancellation indication monitoring capability. The UE may then monitor the configured monitoring occasions according to the identified capability.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may configure uplink resources within a slot to enable a user equipment (UE) to transmit an acknowledgment (ACK) feedback message for multiple downlink semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations. For example, the base station may transmit an additional configuration to the UE that indicates uplink resources that the UE can use to transmit acknowledgment feedbacks for multiple downlink messages received according to the SPS configurations, where the UE determines which uplink resource to use based on a number of acknowledgment information bits to be transmitted for the acknowledgment feedback message. For example, if the number of acknowledgment information bits is below a threshold value, the UE may use a first uplink resource configured by the base station. Alternatively, if the number of acknowledgment information bits is above the threshold value, the UE may use a second uplink resource.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some cases, a user equipment (UE) may use multiple antenna ports to communicate with multiple transmission/reception points (TRPs), and each antenna port may correspond to a spatial dimension along which wireless communications may be transmitted. The UE may transmit a first sounding reference signal (SRS) to a serving TRP to aid the serving TRP in determining a subset of spatial dimensions available to the UE along which to transmit downlink transmissions. Upon receiving a downlink transmission from the serving TRP along the subset of spatial dimensions as determined by the serving TRP, the UE may transmit a second SRS to a neighboring TRP to indicate the subset of spatial dimensions. The neighboring TRP avoid transmitting downlink transmissions to the UE or to other UEs along the subset of spatial dimensions, thereby mitigating interference along the subset of spatial dimensions.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a trigger event configuration for power headroom reporting for a first service type that has a lower latency condition and a higher reliability condition than a second service type. For example, the first service type may be for low latency communications, and the second service type may be for mobile broadband (MBB) communications. The UE may detect a trigger event for power headroom reporting for the first service type based on the trigger event configuration. The UE may transmit a power headroom report for the first service type based on detecting the trigger event. By transmitting the power headroom report for the first service type, the UE may indicate whether power boosting for the first service type is available.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit a downlink control transmission and multiple downlink data transmissions to a user equipment (UE). The UE may schedule an uplink data transmission based on the downlink control transmission and may schedule transmission acknowledgement messages based on the multiple downlink data transmissions. The UE may identify that the scheduled uplink data transmission overlaps with the scheduled transmission acknowledgement messages. The UE may generate one or more acknowledgement codebooks for transmission of the multiple transmission acknowledgment messages and may multiplex the one or more acknowledgement codebooks with the uplink data transmission on the uplink data channel. In some cases, the UE may multiplex the codebooks based on determining that a set of timing thresholds are satisfied by an earliest of the multiple transmission acknowledgement messages and the uplink data transmission with respect to one or more downlink transmissions.
