Abstract: A receiving device identifies a collision between first resources reserved by a first transmitting device and second resources reserved by a second transmitting device and transmits a collision indication to the first transmitting device or the second transmitting device based on the identified collision. A transmitting device that receives a collision indication from the receiving device backs off from transmitting during the resources received by the resource reservation in response to receiving the collision indication from the receiving device.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify multiple candidate sets of physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) transmissions that include hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for sidelink communications received from one or more peer UEs. The UE may select, from one or more of the multiple candidate sets that satisfy a PSFCH transmit power constraint, at least one candidate set that has a highest value for a utility parameter among utility parameters associated with each of the one or more candidate sets that satisfy a PSFCH transmit power constraint. The UE may transmit, on a PSFCH, the plurality of PSFCH transmissions included in the at least one candidate set in a HARQ feedback occasion. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for flexible resource reservations in sidelink communications. An example method that may be executed by a first user equipment (UE) includes determining, for sidelink communications with a second UE, one or more first resource reservations and one or more second resource reservations. The second resource reservations may have a different frequency resource allocation than the first resource reservations. The method also includes transmitting, to the second UE, control information having an indication of the first resource reservations and the second resource reservations. The method further includes communicating with the second UE based on the first resource reservations and the second resource reservations.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communications and, more particularly, to methods and apparatus for rate-matching a stream of bits encoded using polar codes. An exemplary method generally includes determining a target coding rate, RT, for transmitting a group of K information bits, based on a first coding rate, R1, corresponding to a first target block error rate (BLER) for a first transmission of a first redundancy version (RV) of the packet and a second coding rate, R2, corresponding to a second target BLER for a last transmission of a last RV of the packet; determining a circular buffer size, N, of a circular buffer for use in transmitting the first RV and the last RV of the packet; generating encoded information bits from the K information bits using a polar code having a mother code size of N; writing the encoded information bits to the circular buffer; determining a maximum number of retransmissions, based on a latency requirement for the packet; generating different RVs from the encoded information bits in the circular buffer, each RV based on a corresponding target BLER; and transmitting the first RV via a wireless medium.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive a multi-UE wake-up signal in a downlink control information (DCI) communication. The DCI communication may include a set of content field groups. The UE may identify a content field group of the set of content field groups that is to be read by the UE, and determine a behavior associated with performing a UE wake-up operation based at least in part on the identified content field group. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to techniques for selecting a base graph to be used for wireless communications. Selection can be based on a variety of factors. Abase graph can be used to derive a low-density parity-check (LDPC) code used for encoding a retransmission of an original transmission. An exemplary method generally includes selecting, based on a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) and a resource allocation (RA) for transmitting a codeword, a base graph (BG), from which to derive a low density parity check (LDPC) code for use in encoding data bits in the codeword (e.g., encoding data bits of a bitstream such that some redundant bits are included in the codeword), encoding the data bits to generate the codeword using the LDPC code derived from the selected BG, and transmitting the codeword using the MCS via resources of the
