Abstract: In one embodiment, a service that monitors a network obtains file characteristic data of a file stored on a first endpoint in the network. The service infers characteristics of encrypted content within encrypted traffic in the network between the first endpoint and a second endpoint, by applying a machine learning-based classifier to traffic data regarding the encrypted traffic session. The service compares the file characteristic data of the file to the inferred content characteristics of the encrypted content within the encrypted traffic, to detect the file within the encrypted traffic. The service enforces a network policy in the network, based on the detection of the file within the encrypted traffic.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for logging system events within an electronic machine using an event log structured as a collection of tree-like cause and effect graphs. An event to be logged may be received. A new event node may be created within the event log for the received event. One or more existing event nodes within the event log may be identified as having possibly caused the received event. One or more causal links may be created within the event log between the new event node and the one or more identified existing event nodes. The new event node may be stored as an unattached root node in response to not identifying an existing event node that may have caused the received event.

Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques and mechanisms for providing hybrid cloud services for enterprise fabric. The techniques include enhancing an on-demand protocol (e.g., such as LISP) and allowing simplified security and/or firewall service insertion for datacenter servers providing those services. Abstract: Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) interference detection may be provided. A satellite tracking table for a first Access Point (AP) may be created. The satellite tracking table may include a listing of a plurality of satellites of a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) available for the first AP and expected satellite parameters for each of the plurality of satellites. A derived satellite parameter may be determined from a received GNSS signal. The derived satellite parameter may be compared with an corresponding expected satellite parameter. The corresponding expected satellite parameter may be determined from the satellite tracking table. An interference event may be determined when the derived satellite parameter differs from the corresponding expected satellite parameter by at least a predetermined amount.

Abstract: Techniques for combining the functionality of fabric interconnects and switches (e.g., Top-of-Rack (ToR) switches) into one network entity, thereby reducing the number of devices in a fabric and complexity of communications in the fabric. By collapsing FI and ToR switch functionality into one network entity, server traffic may be directly forwarded by the ToR switch and an entire tier is now eliminated from the topology hierarchy which may improve the control, data, and management plane. Further, this disclosure describes techniques for dynamically managing the number of gateway proxies running on one or more computer clusters based on a number of managed switch domains.

Abstract: A computer executed process for mimicking human dialog, referred to herein as a “humanoid” or “humanoid system,” can be configured to provision itself to provide automated customer support. The humanoid can be trained for a customer support campaign. The training can include the humanoid observing communications between a human operator and at least one customer regarding at least one customer support case in the customer support campaign. The humanoid can assess at least one confidence level of the humanoid for the customer support campaign to determine whether the humanoid is adequately trained to handle future customer support cases for the customer support campaign. The humanoid can provision itself to handle at least one future customer support case in the customer support campaign in response to determining that it is adequately trained for the customer support campaign.
