An information processing apparatus includes an image processor that generates an estimated-location image on the basis of a sensor image that indicates, in a first coordinate system, a sensing result of a sensor of which a sensing range at least partially overlaps a sensing range of an image sensor, the estimated-location image indicating an estimated location of a target object in a second coordinate system identical to a coordinate system of a captured image obtained by the image sensor; and an object recognition section that performs processing of recognizing the target object on the basis of the captured image and the estimated-location image. The present technology is applicable to, for example, a system used to recognize a target object around a vehicle.-

A user operates an AR device to collect or extract object information in a media feed including a current object. The AR device identifies a comparison object using attributes of the current baseline object. After the comparison object has been identified, the AR device generates and presents an AR overlay in the graphical user interface that shows the selected attribute of the comparison object nearby or on top of the attribute of the current object in the real time media feed containing the current object.

Abstract: Aspects described herein may allow transactions to be authenticated based on images taken at the transaction site. For example, a computing device may decline a transaction request based on a first category of the transaction indicated in the category information violates a transaction category restriction of the user account. The computing device may send, to a user device associated with the user account, an instruction to upload one or more photos that depict a physical environment where the transaction is requested. If the photos indicate the requested transaction belongs to another category that does not violate the transaction category restriction, the system may approve the transaction based on the photos.
