    Abstract: Implementations of a sensing headroom report (HR), generating the sensing HR, and adjusting transmit powers and other parameters are described. A device transmits a radar wireless signal at a first transmit power from one or more transmit chains. The device also senses the radar wireless signal. The device generates a sensing HR based on sensing the radar wireless signal. The sensing HR may include one or more indications of metrics associated with a received power, such as a transmit power headroom, a sensing headroom, or a combination of a self-interference power, noise, and received power. The device provides the sensing HR to another device in the wireless network (such as via a base station and/or core network to a radar server), and another device may determine a transmit power or other device parameters to be used for sensing.

    Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for using reference signals that enable accurate measurements of a moving UE. To this end, techniques can include a location server obtaining an indication that the velocity of the UE exceeds a threshold and, in response, configuring the UE to measure a reference signal using a selected Tracking Reference Signal (TRS) as a Quasi-Collocation (QCL) reference. In particular, a periodic TRS (P-TRS) or an aperiodic TRS (AP-TRS) can be used as the QCL reference. A reference signal may be configured based on an existing TRS configuration, or a TRS may be configured based on a reference signal configuration. According to some embodiments, a UE may provide velocity information to the location server. Additionally or alternatively, a measurement period for the reference signal may be based on a velocity of the UE.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) transmits an uplink reference signal towards a first reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) associated with at least one base station, receives, from the first RIS, a reflection of the uplink reference signal, wherein at least one transmission parameter of the reflection identifies the reflection as the reflection of the uplink reference signal, and enables a distance between the UE and the first RIS to be calculated based, at least in part, on a transmission-to-reception (Tx-Rx) time difference measurement for the UE, the Tx-Rx time difference measurement representing a difference between a transmission time from the UE of the uplink reference signal to the first RIS and a reception time at the UE of the reflection of the uplink reference signal from the first RIS.
